I am not sure what spurred it, but it's kinda cool. News anchors Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie were officially animated by for a short 19 second segment by "Their friends at My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". Who those friends are, I am not completely sure. Either DHX or the team working on the Discovery Family shorts for Hasbro. Regardless, it's pretty cute.
