San Diego, California, United States - 24 May 2016 - Last week Order of the Friendship announced that it will be holding its second My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic themed convention on San Diego Bay in January 2017. This week we would like to announce two of the contest Pacific PonyCon will be holding leading up to the convention. In having these contest, it provides an opportunity for some of the many creative bronies out there to gain exposure within our community and become involved in the convention.

The two contests are for Art and for PMVs (Pony Music Videos). The full contest rules can be found at PacificPonyCon.com . We ask that submissions be age appropriate to the target audience of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and include several elements which are reflective of the setting of Pacific PonyCon. We kindly ask that all entries be submitted to Pacific PonyCon, through forms that can be found on our website, no later than the end of 1 October 2016.

The finalist for the PMV contest will be invited to attend Pacific PonyCon, where the finalist will be voted on by convention attendees at a panel dedicated to the finalists submissions. The top three winners of the PMV contest will receive various prizes, including convention exclusive plushy. The first place winner of the art contest may have their artwork featured on the cover of the convention book, and will be invited to attend Pacific PonyCon.
