This may be moving outside of our usual territory, and we debated posting it, but I think most of the "brony" generation watching pony also grew up with this guy. Unfortunately it looks like Robin Williams has passed away. He had some of the funniest movies and comedy routines out there. I'm sure I'm not the only one that will miss him.
Reddit currently has a megathread going for information on it, as well as an AMA he did less than a year ago. I'd go there for further information.
