Welovefine Giving Out Signed Posters With 50 Dollar Orders

It looks like Welovefine is adding yet another item to the bundle for those of you that break the 50 dollar mark.   For a limited time, literally until they run out, people will recieve this poster signed by Jayson Thiessen, Wootie, Ridd Sorensen, and Jim Miller.  For those that don't recognize the names, they are all major players in the creation of Friendship is Magic. 

These probably wont be around long, so keep an eye on this page if you want status updates on when they are taken down.

300 DPI High Quality Scans of Walmart Posters

Noval over on Deviant Art has released a bunch of super high quality scans of the Wal Mart Posters.  These are probably the best we will get before our usual Deviant Art vector groups complete the long process of cleaning them up, or Hasbro releases official versions.

EQD and ScrewAttack TF2 Night!

Remember way back months ago when we would choose a random server and invade it for a night of Team Fortress 2 filled shenanigans?   We figured we would revive that! At least for a night!

ScrewAttack, who many of you have probably run into if you have anything at all to do with gaming culture, has a kickstarter up for their third Screw Attack Gaming Convention (SGC).  Past events were a huge success, but it quickly outgrew it's available budget.  This is their attempt at a revival.

EQD and Ponies have always had a huge following of gamers.  Our stream groups are some of the biggest out there.  When they asked us to help get the word out, we were more than happy to play some TF2 in celebration!

Tomorrow at 7:00 PM PST (August 7th)  we will be livestreaming an open TF2 night.  A couple of people from ScrewAttack and the blog authors of EQD invite you all to join us for a night of random explosions, sappin sentries, and ubercharges.  We might even have a Tribes Ascend server set up as well for those that want to try that one out with us.

Server lists and twitch TV links will be distributed tomorrow when it begins.  Since Pony Fortress is completely packed at all hours, we will most likely invade a couple of empty non-pony servers. 

Anyway, hopefully we see you all there!

Pony Trading Card Official Biinder Finalized

If you are like me, your pony trading cards are probably sitting in a pile in your booster box.  Maybe you haven't had time to head to the store for a binder?    Luckily, we have an official binder on its way from Enterplay to motivate us, complete with ponies being adorable and Derpy being derpy.  The price and release dates haven't been finalized yet, but it definitely looks like it would work perfectly for all you collectors out there!  You might want to put a name tag on it though if you bring it to conventions.  Judging on how popular the cards were at Bronycon, I'm sure these will be everywhere.

Newbie Artist Training Grounds II: Day 5

This is the single greatest metaphor for the NATG I have ever seen. I could go on for hours and hours about how much I love this, but time is short so I'll have to be brief. It's not what you do compared to those around you, but that you gave it your all and made a better you. A new personal best is always something to be excited about, and it's worth working hard for. So to all of you who have stuck through these first four days and given us these 758 ponies, thank you. It's a Sunday and this was a more complicated prompt, so to me this is even more impressive than day 1. Our grand total is now 4446 images. The original ATG total is in sight! Move swiftly, my students: let's crush that record!

Draw a pony as a filly or colt/Draw a tiny pony. It's time to practice proportions and scale, and be downright adorable while we do it! Physicians will be on hand to treat any heart attacks that may occur.

As for today, it's Hilltop Zone, Act 1. I was very impressed with the creativity in today's gallery. There's a couple of stock jokes, sure, but mostly you guys knocked it out of the park one after the other. I laughed, I smiled, I shed a single tear. How about tonight we make a game out of guessing where each of those happened? Keep up the amazing work, everyone. You're doing phenomenal work.
