Everfree Northwest Gets Bigger Venue: Extra Tickets Available Soon
Happy news, everypony! Remember when Everfree Northwest announced they were full, and closed to new reservations? They heard you, and pulled their little convention strings to get a venue that could support even more of you! So if you were among the unlucky ones who wanted to go and see all of the absurdly awesome people and events they've got lined up there but were too late on the initial ticket sales, then this is the lucky break you've been waiting for.
Registration is going to re-open on June 9 at 7 pm Pacific Time. Don't put it off anymore; that's what got you in this mess to begin with! Check out the official press release below, and then get to planning that trip. It's sure to be an experience you'll never forget.
Discussion: What Game Company Would You Want a Pony Game From?
This was a question from way back last year around E3. The EQD community has tripled since then though, so lets revive it!
Hasbro has hired you on to choose a gaming company for the first high budget Friendship is Magic video game. They have a secret mind control lawyer genie that will handle all of the specifics, so you can choose literally any of them.
So which one do you choose, and what genre would you prefer? Maybe you want a sci-fi Rainbow Dash shooter from Bungie? Or a high fantasy open world RPG From Bethesda? It's up to you!

Bronycon Documentary Kickstarter Updates
The Bronycon Documentary Kickstarter has hit a whole pile of milestones in the last few days. It already broke the 200,000 dollar goal, and It is also the 6th most funded film of all time on the website. This is getting huge! We even got a Wired article report.
They are looking for another 70k to hit up BUCK over in Manchester, England in August and Galacon in Stuttgart, Germany in August. They also need quite a bit more from you guys that doesn't involve money. A few more specific bronies need to be added to the mix. They also have a new art contest available with a prize of $500 going to the winner. Check out the casting call and more information on the contest after the break, or on their page here!

Lego Cuusoo Pony Project Canned
It looks like Lego has officially shut down the pony toy vote over at their Cuusoo website.
First and foremost, congratulations to Addam for gaining so many supporters for this very well done concept on LEGO CUUSOO. The work you have put into the concepts for potential LEGO renditions of My Little Pony figures and playsets is outstanding.
We know My Little Pony is very popular, and these concepts would make great products. Our team has done our due diligence. Since the property is owned by Hasbro we've decided it’s neither a brand fit nor a strategic fit for the LEGO Group to pursue a My Little Pony license, and so we will not consider My Little Pony projects on LEGO CUUSOO further. We see how enthusiastic and hopeful MLP fans are at the possibility of a LEGO line and are sorry to be the bearers of this disappointing news.
Since LEGO CUUSOO opens us to new product suggestions, naturally people will suggest concepts that aren’t a strategic fit. We are grateful for the spirit behind projects like the My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic project. It keeps us sharp and looking toward the future of the LEGO brick.
I guess we can't win them all! Who knows what the future of pony will bring though? Keep supporting the existing toys and they may just jump on this later on down the road if we get big enough. I have to admit, a giant Lego Cloudsdale would have been amazing. I'm sure some of you out there have some old white bricks floating around. Go build one!

Balloon Party album released!
No, I'm not ruffling your ponyfeathers. As of a couple hours ago, the much anticipated Balloon Party album was released! Nearly all of your favorite artists have had some sort of hand in making this possible, so go grab it from Bandcamp!

Party has so far raised over $8000 which will be going towards helping

EQD and My Little Pony Pick up Ursa Major Awards
The long-running award Ceremony going by the Ursa Major awards (Not to be confused with Trixie's STAR BEAR) recently tossed Friendship is Magic and EQD up for Both "Best Dramatic Series" and "best website" respectively. While it usually focuses on Anthropomorphic stuff, pony was eligible for having talking horses! Can't complain there right?
