For those of you who don't remember, I released a video about four months ago parodying the sheer amount of emails we get in the submit box each day. Not too long after that, a game developer started crafting it into an actual game, which still kind of blows my mind.
Fast forward to right now, and there now exists a playable version of this game for Android devices. Again, it's kind of blowing my mind right now. The game currently expands on the formula of the original flash game (shoot emails to rack up points and win the universe) with some added and refined things such as a little introduction and tutorial for movement and gameplay mechanics. The game is coded in flash, obviously, so you'll want a higher-end Android phone to play this. It runs just fine on my Vibrant variant, which is a single-core 1GHz. It's a little rough around the edges, but with your support I think we can nudge the developer to refine it a bit!
As of now the game has been submitted to Apple for inclusion in the iOS App Store. We'll update you when that becomes available.

Ehh, good for a laugh. Interesting start, to say the least. HTC Raider plays it just fine, but aiming is a bitch, and turning around and firing a gun feels rather awkward. Moving and jumping is also annoying, as if I move after jumping too quickly I barely hop and often fall in a ditch.
Totally getting this on iPhone if it all goes through ok with Apple, though if not *shakes fist in Apple's general direction*

Well, I don't own an iPhone or Android, so I'm going to have to skip it. That Pony Swag mix is pretty awesome, though.

Actually I'm pretty perplexed as to why this isn't online well. I admit I'm not a master of flash, but one of the big ideas of flash is to be portable pretty much everywhere. Why not just host this on a website somewhere and give it some keyboard controls?
If you guys can't play it on your phone, you could just play the original flash version.
And when you're done with it, come back here and tell us how dissapointed you are.

Works on my Galaxy Nexus but the controls could be more responsive. That's what's really stopping me from enjoying this one. I do like the graphical look, though, and the concept of turning it into a platformer is decent enough. Keep at it and it should hopefully improve over time.

Umm, if they're submitting it to Apple they'd better have ported it over to Objective-C or something. Flash doesn't run on iOS devices, remember?
Otherwise, I'm pretty sure my dual-core G2x will run this. I'll try it when I get home.
