All these Zelda YTPMV's are really making me want to go buy Skyward Sword. I still don't like the idea of using all those motion controls to play it though!

Trust me, Seth. The motion controls in Skyward Sword are great. Except for the swimming.

The motion controls in Skyward Sword are the most awesome thing ever. You don't want to play a sword game without it afer you've played Skyward Sword!

WOAH WOAH WOAH! Seth, you STILL haven't played Skyward Sword!? Okay take tomorrow off go buy the game and play it all day long. The Motion control in Skyward Sword was something that I was also not looking forward too, but after playing, the motion control actually makes the game Way better than it would've been without the motion control! Seriously go play it.
Now, I have a video to watch.
Oh, that Dragon Roost Island! :D Definitely one of the best Zelda songa, if even not one of the best video game songs there is!

@Bombedrumbum Well, I've actually never really liked the Elder Scrolls games. Don't know, maybe they're too big for me, I get bored of them pretty quick. (The music from those games is really awesome, though)
That's why my favourite genre is Platform-games, fast-paced and varied action! :)
@Joel I've never played Skyrim. I love platformers though! yoshi's island for best game....

@Bombedrumbum I think Super Mario Bros 3 is the best game ever. ;) Actually have never played the original Yoshi's Island more than a few minutes... But I've got the DS sequel and that one is pretty good.

It's funny, ponies have actually distracted me for 2 months from finishing Skyward Sword. I really need to finish that game. And yeah, using motion controls for almost EVERYTHING is a bit much. Not really ideal for the "lying in bed" gamer IMO. LOL

@Joel Super Mario World 3 for me. That and Yoshi's Island were some of the few games that I ever owned on a Gameboy.

I actually finished Skyward Sword about a week ago. Without a doubt one of the best games I've played.
Anyway, all three of these YTPMVs are very nice. Really like the second one in particular.
Seth, Wii Motion Plus was the best thing that EVER happened to Zelda. Play it, love it, never go back!
ehhh... I'm not really feeling all the love for the motion controls in Skyward Sword. It's good, but the motion controls get a bit gimmicky and obnoxious, imo.
It's still a really good game, but it's not the best Zelda game, and I got pretty frustrated with it towards the end.
@Checkmate How can it be a "gimmick" when the whole gameplay centers around it?
I agree that this is not the best Zelda game though, still holds Ocarina of Time and Winder Waker above it. (And no, I haven't played A Link to the Past yet :P)

All of these ytpmvs are awesome! Seth, you must buy skyward sword! The controls are amazing and the sword actually swings in the direction you swing unlike Sonic and the Black Knight. Good god those controls were just awful!
I did not like Skyward Sword. I've been a Zelda fan ever since I can remember, and I was really disappointed with it. The overworld is very small to the point of being claustrophobic. There is no freedom, even while you're walking from the main hubworld to reach the next temple, everything is planned out for you in a rigid, unbreakable sequence of steps, and this pattern becomes all the more onerous once you can no longer prevent yourself from realizing that it is going to last for the entire game.
The gameplay is amazing, the combat is another highlight, the graphics are decent and occasionally impressive. But seriously, it's basically a DS-style Zelda made for the Wii. It's a kid's game.
Whatever happened to the time when people played Zelda because it was the most fucked-up, weird-as-hell, awesome game out there? (Majora's Mask, anyone?)
