How sneaky! I found this buried in the event folder. Someone added lyrics to one of those really well done PMV's from a while back. It's definitely awesome, so you should definitely check it out after the break!

Wow. Just. Wow. I love how they managed to work every(pony, griffin, zebra, phoenix) into the video like that. It was awesomeness on an astronomical scale.
I really like selection of scenes and script in general. Discord with the umbrella fits perfectly, mane 6 facing their G1 counterparts is a really good, although not very original, idea. In general a good job was done on ponification, I think. But, sorry, realization is still not even close to the original. Animation isn't smooth, moves look awkwardly robotic, &c. Probably only Japanese can do it right. It's out of westerners league. Nice try, but still not even half as awesome as the original Bad Apple video.
I also feel the creator missed out on a (slightly tropey, maybe) effect, which just seemed obvious after this line "And make the colours return" at around 4:11, make the last few seconds or so of the video in colour. With a goodish trigger of the transition being around 4:50 with the line: "Cleanse the world in rainbow light".
But other than the slightly choppy animation and what I perceive to be missed opportunities, I really like this song and animation.
The Japanese don't have some magic +10 racial proficiency bonus. Oh no, I wasn't born in Japan - I guess I'm somehow incapable of making animation or editing high quality video. I love anime, and I binge on Nico Nico Douga far too often for my own good, but really?
This gives no indication of some magic disparity between some innate skill between artists of one ethnicity/nationality as the other as it does the actual disparity between two individual artists.
I thought this was great. The original was great, but this makes it just amazing and complete fitting. I have no idea if I should put this in my pony or touhou fan music catagory on iTunes...

The re-encoded video adds different audio, with ponified lyrics, and subtitles. So you lose a bit of video quality due to second-generation video but you gain pony lyrics, which is still a net gain.
Yeah, the animation and transitions could be smoother, but that's part of the reason why the original Bad Apple was so awesome: the animation and transitions in Bad Apple are _so_ good that they're rarely ever seen.
@mwgamerafrom the looks of it, the visuals are taken from another youtube video, so most likely is a recording, which explains the quality and smoothness. I actually prefer the pony version, though that might be because I've never played a Touhou game.
Also, way to stereotype both Japanese and Western people at the same time.

No idea what the non-pony sauce material is based on, but even without knowing it, that was still great. The lyrics really are very cleverly written.

There was a different version of this video that had lower quality, but the timing was better since it didn't have as many ponies in.

While the original Bad Apple PV is still the best, this dub still sounds pretty good. I prefer it to other fandubs of Bad Apple, at least!
