A new project is underway to showcase all the awesome pony stuff at a few upcoming conventions and meetups! It's quite a bit of copypaste, so check it all out after the break!
Greetings Everypony!
My name is Inky Notebook and I’m here to bring you the Traveling Pony Museum! It will feature pony plushies, prints, and other works by new and famous artists from the community.
The museum will be venturing to the major brony meetups all over the United States including Everfree Northwest, Bronies Ohio, Bronies Boston, DC Bronies and the monthly brony meetups in New York.
The museum needs a bit of help to get off the ground though! Currently there are 1,000 dollars in commissions that needs to be paid in order for the artwork to get to the Museum. So the we’re turning to all of you, the brony community. Every little bit helps and you can send donations via Paypal to TravelingPonyMuseum@gmail.com

So what does being a part of the Traveling Pony Museum mean? It means your plushies or artwork will be featured at conventions all over the United States along side the artists listed above.

Sounds good, there's definitely a huge amount of talent in this community. What I'd like to see most is a pony blobs exhibit XD.

I know it's before the copypaste and not specific but "showcase all the awesome pony stuff" i'd imagine we'd need a small island by now if we truly put all the great content made there.
The entire internet can barely hold all the pony! The museum will have to focus on the best of the best of the best!
The word "museum" just doesn't quite sound right to me. When I first saw the word I thought it was a traveling museum about the history of the MLP franchise in general. I think "art exhibit" is more appropriate.
Regardless, it sounds interesting!

So ... people are seriously taking a plea for "send us money, we PROMISE not to steal it!" seriously? :/
Maybe I'm just cynical, but I wouldn't send money to anyone, sight-unseen, unless I knew them personally and knew they wouldn't run off with the money. It's super easy to say "I'll do X and Y!" and then disappear from the community completely. There's no REAL accountability; "InkyNotebook" isn't exactly a name you can take to the cops.
Meh, it's your money, throw it away if you want to.
