Wow I forgot I was even reading Balad it's been so long. Time to catch up and re-read!
I knew this update was going to excite people... So many good stories posted major updates in the last day or so. I was already dragging from reading the excellent "Eternal" update late last night (the 30,000 word chapter was so epic that even at 2 am when I hit the cliffhanger point where it had been split, I just went straight into the second part of it. So awesome.) And then I wake up early this morning and find "Ballad" and "Much Ahoof", so went right into reading them. (I'm not a huge fan of shipping, but those two are fun.)
Now I have a towering amount of work left to get done today and am pretty much a zombie... but I'm mostly just sad that I'll have to wait now for more major story updates.

The humor of it is the big draw, at least to me. I love the things done with the supporting members of the mane cast, especially Rarity.
Actually, as much as I adore the purple unicorn, shippy-Twilight is my least favorite part of that story. Luckily there's so much going on that there's something for everyone in there. If only it updated regularly.
