"Long" is a bit of a misnomer, unless it refers to Celestia's lifespan. Regardless, I enjoyed this.

Well, I was referring to the length of the story when I submitted this and tagged it as "long". I consider 8K words to be kind of long for a short story, though I guess it isn't too terribly long.

Hi author. It's not a big deal. I associate "long" with novel-length fiction, but that is just a comment on the tags. I read your story and I enjoyed it, sad as it was. I encourage others to give it a shot. Given the great popularity of Celestia/Twilight melancholy, I have to assume that this is going to generate a lot of interest.

This moved me to become teary, but the tears were never quite expelled. I still loved it to bits, though.
