After 3 weeks of trying to set up a meetup, we were finally successful. It started out with the 8 of us playing D&D the card game at the central library. After about 2 hours of that, we decided we were hungry and headed over to Dinosaur BBQ, a nearby restaurant. Unfortunately, 2 of us had to leave before we went there, and one of had to leave before we were seated (Dinosaur BBQ was surprisingly busy at 3 on Sunday). After some good times and enormous portions of food, the remaining 5 of us decided to go watch a movie. We settled on Ghost Rider because it has Nicolas Cage (THE BEES!!!). After the movie was over, we spent about an hour talking in the parking lot of the theater (which is not uncommon for me and my friends) and parted ways.

I still cannot shake the feeling of the organizer of the Traveling Pony Museum putting it together and doing it for the prime reason of getting to travel around to a lot of fun places for free. *shrugs* I don't know Inky personally though, so I honestly couldn't say. It's a kinda fun idea either way I suppose.

For me the r34 section of this fandom does not bother or shock me if you were into pokemon, nartou etc you should be more than used to r34 by this point.
But i am concerned over the number of forefront furries we have leading the fandom so to say.

I don't know about the internet world but in the real world where i usually live it does indeed work. when i work in a customer's home and the family is an interracial couple or blatantly homosexual person i show them the same respect i do a "normal" person. you can't predict or control how other people react in life. as a 27 yr old with real responsibilities in the real world i can and do choose to act with the love and tolerance motto.
remember, tolerance doesn't mean you have to like it. you just don't persecute people for whatever it is you don't like.
I like that the Nightly Round Ups have been happening at the end of the night - my time - these past few days.

It's about peacefully coexisting with folks that have different values and lifestyles who aren't trying to put yours in jeopardy. There are times when a person should NOT be blindly accepting of others, your example is one situation which caution would be appropriate.

You could e.g. first inform yourself what differentiates a pedophile from a child molester, as those aren't the same and there is a surprising lack of overlap between both groups most of the time.
As long as you don't try to kill him or sabotage his attempts to live a normal lawful life it's considered "tolerance".

I don't really want to get in the discussion here, but I would like to pipe up on behalf of other Christians here to say that we're not all like Derpestia.
You're drawing extremes where people aren't placing them. When someone says "love and tolerate," they're not telling you that you have to "tiptoe around it and let them act and say whatever they want and bite my tongue just to make them feel better," or that you shouldn't be concerned if a pedophile moves next door.
Tolerance doesn't mean complacency or doormattery, but it does mean acceptance that someone else's life is their to live when it doesn't impact yours. It is, by nature, a choice of moderation in your actions.
Does that mean you shouldn't be concerned if a pedophile moves next door to you and your kids? No, and it doesn't mean you shouldn't consider moving if you want. It does mean you don't need to follow him around and loudly proclaim to people nearby him that he's a pedophile in hopes of getting people angry at him.

Actually I'm paying for most of everything out of pocket and travel sure isn't free. T^T The museum itself is coming along well but I'm reaching out to the community for help in order for the museum to be able to go where it needs to go. After all, the community is who will be enjoying the museum itself. :) There will also probably be times where I myself can't travel with the museum because of school and such.
There will be more updates as progress is made and there are already a lot of people participating in the giveaway.
Pretty much though the reason I'm putting the museum together is for the community and for the artists.

@Derpestia I should point out at all the furry-cons I've gone to only 10-15% of people are fursuiters, and it's believed only 1-2% fursuiters are into sex in the suits (those things can cost well over $1000 you wouldn't want to get it dirty doing that)
