"Lyra's Lullaby"'s description as "piano/symphonic" was a bit misleading, I think. Led me to expect a concerto of some sort. Nevertheless, very mellow. Very nice.
I really do enjoy these instrumental posts. Always a guarantee that there will be a melody that will be making its way to my ever-shrinking hard drive.
#1 Pretty good. A little on the calmer side, which is how I like it.
#2 Nice. Definitely on the energetic side with a great synth lead to boot.
#3 This was such a beautiful instrumental with just the right blend of synth effects. I could definitely picture a live orchestra playing this one.
#4 Another well done instrumental. Nice use of "surprised" Fluttershy as the background.
#5 Totally loved this one too. Really liked how it starts gently, picks up the pace, and then goes back to gentle. Perfect execution.
"Fluttershy Finishes Reading a Good Book" is quite lovely, and with an unresolved note of tension in the middle section that I quite enjoyed.
