    1. Damn it... and I just about managed to forget about the original comic from which the first animation was made... now I'm crying again :(

But 'New Derpy' isn't Derpy. 'New Derpy' is instead 'that one nameless background pony that has her eyes crossed sometimes, but not so much as to suggest that she's mentally deficient.'

    6. I got a distinct sense of deja vu from that first one. I believe I saw the original comic on Youtube once with some sad background music.

That, of course, is coming from a canon perspective.
She will always be Derpy to our community. But she can't necessarily be called canon if they're removing her.

New 'derpy' isn't Derpy: they took out the name.

I'll agree though that the new voice is ok. TBH I can't decide which voice is better.

    9. #1: A new take on a touching classic. The animation was incredibly smooth; keep up the good work!

#2: Ha ha! I can't really say I'm surprised. It is Pinkie Pie, after all.

#3: …That was…odd. I'm guessing I'm not as upset as most of the rest of the fandom about Derpy.

      @Mike
Ooh, I hope so! I'm hardly the first to say this, but the art on that Twilight blog is amazing

    10. Personally the only thing that bothered me about the whole Derpy incident was the fact they removed her name. That was the special connection that bridged canon and fanon together. These flashes were all pretty good, that Pinkie rocket one was pretty funny.

    13. Beh. I really don't like how the Derpy incident seems to have been the rallying call for all the haters to crawl forth from under their rocks and attack the community. I guess they feel all their hate is justified now because a few bad apples went ballistic.

Nice videos. I almost got teary eyed at the story about Spike growing up.

Crossed eyes aren't indicative of or even related to below-average mental faculties.

    18. That first one was so sad. I remember almost crying when I read that comic.
On a lighter note, Twilight needs to stop eating so many apple pies, apple brown betty's, apple fritters, etc..

    19. First one... all my dawwwws. Even if Twilight was super chubby.

    20. WOAH. I have the music in the background of #3 on my iPod.

    21. Oh Celestia, couldn't even finish the first one. I read the original when it came out, then the YouTube video. Can't take any more sadness :(. Seemed pretty good quality-wise though.

    22. I cried like a bitch at the end of the first animation... and I'm man enough to admit it.
