And it seems as though Derpy dominates quite a lot of drawfriend these days. No complaints here though. The fandom loves here and it shows in the art quality.
Tara has seen her ponification already and she loves it.
17- I know all the words to that song, and I approve of Luna dancing along to it. I also approve of Celestia's perterbness (interesting choice in age difference)
19- The lighting! I like the glowing horns, we should see that more.
20- Saw it on DA earlier and loved it. I've always been a fan of random lasers...and Derpy for that matter. Love the expressions!
26- Is it wierd that while watching one of the voice acting panels (online, I'm not that cool) I was trying to figure out how the actresses' hair would look on a pony? No? Just me? well, obviously not.

Okay, I was very late yesterday, but today I am more on-the-ball. So let's get to it...
1) I was just raving about this one over at White Diamonds' blog. Following up Steampunk Rarity with Tron Dash and Pinkie just makes my head spin. Love the hard sci-fi and goofy pony combo here.
2) Sailor Mars and Trixie? Why not? Trixie looks to be all for it.
3) What would Derpy's version of a sonic rainboom be? Some kind of muffin shockwave?
4) A cute, different style for the lovely Ms. Hooves.
5) Don't know who this is, but she's cute.
6) AJ looks pissed. You don't want to know what happens when she spits out that hay stem.
7) This is a lovely Rose. She'd look good as a felt pony.

#1: I think WhiteDiamonds may have just become my favorite MLP fan artist. That's a wonderful drawing, with great colors, expressions, and lighting.
#3, #4: Was this ordering deliberate? #3 is a good drawing of Derpy in action, which is rather rare; #4 is just over-the-top cute, and a great showcase for Derpy's personality.
#9: Very nice dress, and Spitfire looks great in it.
#11: I don't know how such a bright picture can be so evocative and moody, but Grayma1k pulled it off.
#12: Love the lighting in this drawing, even if I'm not sure what's going on.
#17: That may be taking that pun too far, Luna...
#20: Great feeling of action in this drawing, and excellent expressions.
#24: The colors are reminiscent of Lisa Frank, but they work for this dynamic Scootaloo portrait.
#25: Another odd-but-gorgeous drawing from Miradge; I don't know why Pinkie's back on the rock farm, but it's obviously a hard life. (Pun intended.)

Okay, I've been looking through all of these drawfriends for months, and there's one thing that's always been bothering me. In 99% of all drawfriends, there's at least two shipping pics that I would rather not see. And before you say 'If you don't like, don't look,' consider the fact that you don't know WHAT pictures are in the drawfriend. You can't really predict when the picture you don't want to see will pop up plain as day.
Now I'm not saying that the shipping pictures should be removed from drawfriend entirely, I'm only suggesting that the shipping and implied shipping pictures undergo the same actions that the saucy pics do. Just have the link with a short description of what the pic is.
And by the way, I'm not singling out hetero or homo pictures, because I just know someone will assume I'm referring the the homo pictures and call me a homophobe. This is a blanket statement for any and all shipping.
Does anyone else agree with me or will there be attempts to have me flamed from Equestria Daily for 'threatening' shipping pics? If anyone does agree with me, then I say we, as a group, bring this proposition to the site staff and the community at large.
If I am the only one with this concern, then so be it, I'll let the matter die. That's my two cents.
Also...I don't really like the term for Touhou/Mlp crossovers. Touhorses sounds kinda strange, I prefer Touhooves personally.

Maybe I am too naive, but for me, the RD and Pinkie picture is only friendship, they're sharing a good moment, and that's all.
I think you're thinking too much, and see things where they're not. I mean, this show is called Friendship is Magic. So think friendship before shipping.
The Twilight and Rarity picture is more problematic, but I see the pic as Twilight showing a love letter from a stallion to her friend Rarity. Love has been declared canon by Hearts and Hooves Day, and I think this is a subject that may trot in the mind of our young favourite mares!
But as I said, I'm kind of naive and I see friendship where there may be love (I fall for it everytime in movies). Nevertheless I prefer my point of vue. That way, I'm never harmed by pictures I wouldn't see.

White Diamonds, that is a truly EXCELLENT picture with which to lead the Drawfriends. I adore its gorgeous use of color, the way it comes alive...I didn't quite recognize it as Tron at first, for some reason, but it's definitely enough to make me want to use it for a new wallpaper...which I may do despite the fact that it only has two of the Mane Six.
Also the rest of the Drawfriends was quite good, at least what I could see from it here at college...I'll have to check the stuff hidden behind links later. Nice job everyartist!

Listen, I really understand your concern about shipping. I had the same problem just a few months ago. It's gone now. Why? Because I learned to like and even love shipping ;) How? By stripping it off of sexual context.
Check out #8 for example. We could call it "shipping" but it's so cute that it almost gives me diabetes. What's wrong about cuteness? Nothing as long as your imagination does not add anything more to it.
Furthermore, these are ponies. It's a totally different plane of existence. Some people mix it up with ridiculous humanized porn... Well, as long as you are not mentally sick (a.k.a. "a furry" - sorry if anyone is offended by that but if you are attracted to animals, then you should seek professional help; seriously), you shouldn't even be thinking about it. What's left? Love!
There's nothing wrong with two ponies in love, right? Right. Love is GOOD! Just enjoy colorful creatures in love - it's really heartwarming ;)

I see what you're saying and I think, for the first time in my memory, that I let myself post something before really thinking it through. I'm usually good about controlling knee-jerk responses. Thinking about it, the whole thing does seem a little silly. Given a second chance, I would have stepped back and gave myself five minutes time to really consider if this whole thing was important enough to put to words. But live and learn, and, like you said, "Talking about things that bother us is THE way to solve problems."

I respect your opinion or at least right to it, so please don't consider this a flame, but requests like this are why I've been a bit vocal about how overused the sauce filter has been of late. Because it only leads to people requesting purely innocent images get similar tagging.

I'm not a fan of shipping either, but as long as it's not approaching saucy (or one of a few pairings that automatically annoy me), the pics don't bother me. Also, like TeslaClarity, I tend to see pics as friendshipping rather than romantic shipping whenever possible.
While I can sympathize with why you'd want shipping images linked, in the end I think it'd cause more problems than it would solve; given how much discussion there is now over whether certain images are saucy, I can just imagine the shipping arguments...

I did post in haste. Something I strive to not do. I can't imagine how I let myself forget to back off for five minutes before actually posting to make sure that I was thinking with a clear head. And because of that, I used words and phrases that came off as sounding far stronger than I meant them to be. Even the last bit was a weak attempt to make what I was saying sound less harsh. Good evening, everypony! Harwick-darling was kind enough to let me know that my Tron commissioned piece had made top spot in the Drawfriend, and even though I'm exhausted right now (I'm just getting home from a VERY long evening at work), I at least had to come and thank everyone for the kind words. I'm happy that many of you seemed to enjoy it!
Also, as I mentioned in my blog post Blogger seemingly went and resized the finished piece because it was too large, but for anyone who is interested I actually have it available in the original 2560x1600 pixel size. For now I don't have an account anyplace to upload it to that won't shrink it down as well, but if anyone was interested they can feel free to contact me via my blog and I could send it to them, or something. You'll all have to forgive me; I really am very tired but hopefully I'm at least making sense.

As you may or may not be aware, I have chosen to no longer pursue the matter. However, I feel that an apology from myself is in order. There was no reason for me to word my post as strongly as I did and neither was there any reason for me to call anyone out for imagined attacks.
I have said this a couple times before, but it bears repeating that I posted without seriously considering the situation beforehand. Yet, this is no excuse for what I did. The fact of the matter remains that I was wrong with how I said what I said. And for that, I sincerely apologize.
