Funny, since they DO drink cow milk in Equestria. Not exacly like us humans, but you do need it for baking... But I gotta call shenenigans on pony anatomy.
You know, in Central Asia, kumiss is actually considered a delicacy.
I know this because I've been working on crossing over ponies with an old Prodigy game called MadMaze, and the importance of kumiss to the story stood out to me for obvious reasons.
I always thought it was a bit weird that people love drinking the milk of a cow or a goat, but freak out when confronted with the idea of actually drinking the milk of their own species for once.
The only thing that annoys me about this is the use of "Breast". Something along the lines of "Did you use the milk that I pumped for the foals" or something similar would have been much better. That and the way everyone acts when confronted with the idea of drinking milk from their own species.
