no, im sure there are more bronies out there who liked it from ep 1. i did, only because i refused to watch from the middle of the series, i went all out and, to be honest, i loved it!! im just glad im not the only brony who dislikes the intro to the show.
wait...in the description of the original kids react video it says, "If you see this, type "BRONIES FTW" in the comments"...is their video a troll? IS THIS A TRAP?!?!?
I like the parts with the guy with the handlebar mustache and the Pinkestia on the table. He's funny :) I think I saw a video where he was singing a stallion version of Becoming Popular.
That was pretty hilarious. Though kinda expected the teens to react this way, I guess I used to as well. But I watched the show with an open mind and here I am today.
whoo they saw my submission :D i literally got out of bed to go to my computer and post this on the 2 brony facebook pages, EQD and my ponysquare page XD
Oh Yaplap. But aside from his hilarity, I think the examples of our personal community celebrities speak volumes about why I even reconsidered the show after giving up at the intro the first time. Too many evidently awesome people were fans to ignore. I believe I can attribute my own acceptance to posts by the League of Legends Riot Staff.
I didn't watch the original because I knew it would be too painful and they would probably only show them the opening as opposed to clips from the pilot where, for example, Twilight uses awesome vocabulary, Rarity kicks a manticore in the face and Steven Magnet happens. I'm glad I waited till this so I didn't have to break my nose with epic facepalming.
I wish to God someone would get in touch with Devin and show him EqD and all the comments to this video. We would give him a SERIOUS welcome to the herd. :D
Man... I loved these bronies' comebacks. Like to the swoop-hair pink-plaid-shirt kid. And to the "Not technically a man" comments. And that last bit with the 'date a brony' comment... Yeah, the brony girl + brony guy raising a little brony family DOES sound ideal. XD
Anyway. Well done. I hope to see more Bronies React videos, because this was awesome.
First off, I'm a teen. Only fourteen. And I was embarrassed to be a teen after watching that video.
Second, when I was exposed to bronies, I was all o.o but I never judged the show or bronies. Rather, I watched it and loved it from the first episode. The animation, the characters, even the cheesy plot of the first two episodes were addicting.
Third, I don't care if they hate the show. What I can't stand is if they hate it without even watching it. Truthfully, before I even watched the show, I thought the whole brony fad was awesome! I only saw pictures of the ponies and thought they were adorable. Haters gonna hate but they should watch it first. And if they hate, they don't have to troll and go around saying, "MLP is crap! Bronies are gay! Meh!" I respect my friend for saying, "I watched it like you said but it's just not my thing." Though I was disappointed, I respected their opinion because they were so cool about it. If they had actually insulted me, bronies, or the show, I wouldn't be friends with them anymore, truthfully. XD
Ill say the same thing I said before: These are teenagers, subject to the black-and-white thinking and peer pressure of high school, even if they admitted they liked the show, they'd be beaten up by their so-called 'friends' for that. They simply cannot comprehend at this point, and those that do, just as in the video, do it to piss people off.
Of course, you have those that hide it, but they'll usually side with the haters if the topic is brought up. That's just the way it is in high school, I don't blame them for that.
Anyways, despite bronies missing the point and being judgmental towards teenagers which have judgmental behavior shoved down their throat, it was intriguing to watch.
As a 41-year-old male brony, I find a squeaky-voiced teen saying that "I shouldn't be allowed to call myself a man" to be... hilariously funny.
Kid, here's a free clue for you, something I learned. A man is what a person IS, not what he does or what he chooses as his entertainment. Nobody else in the world gets to define what "being a man" means to you, any more than you get to make that definition for anyone else.
Yeah, I'm 41.. a bit outside the "normal" demographic for bronies. But demographics are for pansies!
I can understand unsubing them for not enjoying their skits anymore @William but come on to unsubscribe for that reason alone is just being a but hurt brony about it. But yeah its your call on what you watch.
I don't understand why so many bronies made just a big deal about it.
I sorry teens but bronies are manly men of manliness and that is http://ganton3.deviantart.com/art/INSTANT-RAINBOWDASH-Flash-211317101?q=boost%3Apopular%20gallery%3Aganton3%2F30883490&qo=8
@wackypony Nope. I got interested in the show after reading the TV Tropes article and started watching the first episode hoping it was truly as good as "the bronies" were claiming. It didn't disappoint :)
People keep mentioning they were driven to MLP by some artist on DA, and every time they mention a name it's always an old friend of mine.
I started watching pony after someone I didn't like too much said to watch the show. I said to myself "I just finished rewatching every episode of Darkwing Duck on youtube. I need something else to watch. Bring on the ponies."
I like cartoons, I'm a child at heart, and I kinda liked MLP when I was a kid. (Even though I remember nothing of the old show now.) No resistance, no exciting story about how I was slowly driven to love the show. I just watched it.
The part I find interesting is after I watched all the current episodes and stopped watching for a while until Season 2 finally aired; being away from MLP made me love it more each day until I became obsessive. How'd that happen?
Ahaha. My boyfriend got me into the show. Wouldn't-date-a-brony girls can enjoy their over-masculine posturing men, I'll keep my special somepony. <3 This video was what I needed to see after seeing the Teens React. OH was I mad.
@wackyponyI'm 16 and I watched the show anyway. But it happened after I clicked on a link by accident and decided to give it a try and watch the whole season. I guess it counts?
This was so awesome! (but I must admit that at first I thought Bronyism almost like those teens allright I was more tolerate and little bit intrested about Ponies [thanks to my friends :D]. And now I have been about 2 month Brony and I love this Fandom![world is full of mysteries])
@Max the Musicorn Should have had a secondary survey: How many of those teens would have voted for Obama. I already know the answer: ALL OF THEM. They obey Hollywood and the Music Industry.
So, we must conquer those two things (ending the threat SOPA and PIPA forever in the process, since those are the two groups pushing hardest for it) and all the world shall become one with Pony. It's win-win!
What could possibly go wrong! Nothing's going to happen! Let's split up! Cigarettes are good for you!
@sorakun555 I was late to the Pony party because a) I hardly watch TV at all anymore b) I was working 60+ hours a week at the time and was out of touch with everything c) I was jaded by an endless stream of awful re-makes, including the Smurf movie and Transformers 2, and thus already multiply-burned, I was being hyper-cautious about wasting time on anything else.
And then, at a convention, a guy I know from England and another from Ireland were hanging out watching Pony and told me how great it was. And I thought, "My God... this show has the power to unite the Irish and the Brits in harmony and friendship! IT MUST BE THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!" And it WAS!! :O
@Jason Shadow The average US teens today: are fat, are lazy, are weak-minded/bodied/willed, think they can have sex with everyone in the school and are still surprised when pregnancy happens and STDs are contracted, end up addicted to numerous substances because other teens tell them to, sniff glue and paint thinner (do I need to say more on this?), cannot find the United States on a globe, are unable to subtract or divide without a calculator, are incapable of reading the US Constitution because the language is too complex for their primitive comprehension level, like Justin Bieber and "The Twilight Saga" (no more evidence is required).
Now, WHY IN HELL would I give any regard to what those little twits think?
@Mystic Hey! When I was 5, I was already reading my mother's high school biology book, and watching Doctor Who, Star Trek, Carl Sagan, NOVA, and National Geographic! I also had an autographed picture from my favorite news anchor Larry Kane, which I got in 1978, when I was 2! Yes, I was already watching the evening news AT AGE 2!!
It's not all 5-year olds, you see. Only the stupid ones. (I iz da soup-ear-ieor bee-ing) :B
Mein ass, it has become detached due to my exuberant cachinnation.
d.notive's reaction to the dating thing was so funny. I kept expecting a really a really deep message, and it turned into him pretty much saying, "nah... nevermind, you shouldnt date bronies."
This video also reminded me that the one teen that kept calling bronies gay and feminine (As if thats some sort of insult) happened to have more hair product in his hair than a woman on her wedding day. And was wearing a pink plaid shirt...
I'm glad they made this video. The Teens React video was just horrible. Most of the teens just bashed bronies. This brony reaction video was excellent.
Well considering I despise pretty much everything today's teens are into.. Justin Bieber, High School Musical, the like; I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they hate the things I like.
Also that "strong man" that girl wants to date, two words: "Domestic Violence"
What do those girls mean by not being able to date a brony? Are they loco in the cocoa? I want to date a brony!
I would absolutely love to find a sweet guy who's secure enough in his masculinity to watch ponies! Also, watching the show means he has an appreciation for quality animation and endearing characters!
all of those teens were the children of the fox news team which basically hate Bronies in the first place. When the girls said they would never date a brony cause they wanted a manly macho man I thought to myself... yet they want their dates to like TWILIGHT (not the pony) and Harry Potter... those kids are peer preasure poster idols... aka sheep.
I'm a Teen n I'm frickin obsessed with this amazing show. Plus I would totally date a brony coz that means they've learned all the lessons from the show so in fact that they would be a much better person with a much stronger moral than other guys.

I laughed so hard everytime yaplap yelled in this.
ReplyDeleteWhere the hell did all those normal looking bronies come from
ReplyDeleteMost of those kids were too young, too shallow and too closed minded.
ReplyDelete"If they don't like it, it's wrong." effectively.
lol. Brony Families ftw! I'm a Brony. One of my kids is a Brony. The rest of the family will come around. ;p
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Bronies! :DD I Lol'ed so much ^^
ReplyDeleteI wasn't going to watch that whole thing, but it was too good! So I watched it all. 8^D
ReplyDeleteYay guys! As bronies it's COOL to pick on little kids now. *rolls eyes*
ReplyDeleteI have a couple things to say.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I'm a teen.

I did an impressions video too... LOL
ReplyDeleteThat was hilarious. Really picked up my mood to see our reactions to that nonsense they did before. XD
ReplyDeleteIll say the same thing I said before: These are teenagers, subject to the black-and-white thinking and peer pressure of high school, even if they admitted they liked the show, they'd be beaten up by their so-called 'friends' for that. The inception at the beginning was the win.
ReplyDeleteAnd then the rest of the video happened.
The win was doubled.
Best pony video I've seen in a long time. XD
ReplyDeleteWhen I watched Teens React, I wondered why they were all 13 'crept for the tall black dude
ReplyDeleteI was like
ReplyDeleteTHESE STUPID KIDS ARE NOOBISH ASSHOLES!
As a 41-year-old male brony, I find a squeaky-voiced teen saying that "I shouldn't be allowed to call myself a man" to be... hilariously funny.

Fuck I laughed so hard at YapLap.
ReplyDeleteI REALLY LIKE HIS MANE!
I'd love the guys who made the original "teens react" video to get a look at this.

ReplyDeleteI already sent an message to the fineBros, with the vid link in it. Let's await the response :3
You know how hard it was to NOT burst laughing at some sequences in the middle of work?
ReplyDeleteA lot. This was so awesome.
I dunno, but laughing so hard after watching 'Bronies react'.
ReplyDeleteI find this funny but unnecessary
ReplyDeleteYo dawg, we heard you like reaction videos, so we put a reaction video in your reaction video so you could watch people react while people react.
ReplyDeleteI unsubed FineBros because of the original video
ReplyDeleteYapLap is Best Pony.

ReplyDeleteAlso, d.notive looks a lot like Dan from Dan Vs.!

Is there any Brony in Omagh NorthernIreland cuz im kind of being alone in this little island of crucial treating.
ReplyDeleteNow all we need is My Little Ponies Reacts to Bronies React to Teenagers React to My Little Pony
ReplyDeleteHilarious, but I think it might have been better--not by much, mind you--if you had included a teenage brony in the roster.
ReplyDeleteAhaha. My boyfriend got me into the show. Wouldn't-date-a-brony girls can enjoy their over-masculine posturing men, I'll keep my special somepony. <3

Yaplap is best pony.
ReplyDeleteThis was hysterical. Nice job bronies.
ReplyDeleteThis is going on the fridge for sure. hahaha this was to funny!

Such a manly Brony. "You're saying...That I'm not a man....?" HAHAHA That part had me laughing hysterically.
ReplyDeleteHave I mentioned how much I love you guys?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, this video was spectacular.
and this... is why ill never leave this fandom. My friends are just barely grasping that i'm a Brony. I've gotta let it sink in slowly or they'll die.
ReplyDeleteDon't. Fuck. With the mustache. >.>
ReplyDeleteMy favourite line was, "I'm not one for ad hominem, but come on!"
ReplyDeleteBut I have to admit, if I had only seen the intro to the show, I'd probably react pretty much the same as the teens did.
really happy they made this vid, really am =D
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they made this video. The Teens React video was just horrible. Most of the teens just bashed bronies. This brony reaction video was excellent.
ReplyDeleteOh God, when Dusty goes Koyannisquatsi --- I had to stop and laugh for a while... -XD
ReplyDeleteWell considering I despise pretty much everything today's teens are into.. Justin Bieber, High School Musical, the like; I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they hate the things I like.

A reaction within a reaction? WE MUST GO DEEPER.
ReplyDeleteThe intro? Nah it grows on you! But I still have trouble saying cutie mark, even my head. They'll always be butt symbols to me.
I'm a brony, I'm not famous, and I'm rolling in macaroni. I think you guys are doing it wrong. Now excuse me while I go take my medication.
Brony babies? I don't even want babies and I approve of this!
i really like his mane!
ReplyDeleteall of those teens were the children of the fox news team which basically hate Bronies in the first place. When the girls said they would never date a brony cause they wanted a manly macho man I thought to myself... yet they want their dates to like TWILIGHT (not the pony) and Harry Potter...
ReplyDeletethose kids are peer preasure poster idols... aka sheep.
Awesome beard + Koyaanisqatsi. Was not expecting that.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Teen n I'm frickin obsessed with this amazing show. Plus I would totally date a brony coz that means they've learned all the lessons from the show so in fact that they would be a much better person with a much stronger moral than other guys.
