During the toy fair, one of the pony sets that was a bit overshadowed due to the Vinyl/Trixie/NMM/Zecora drop was the Bridesmaid set. Obviously these aren't specifically targeted at us, but they do come with these images of their costumes. I'm not too sure if these will be in the actual show, but the Greek Kapsis site lists them side-by-side with the actual merch.
I'm leaning toward Fluttershy as best bridal pony this time around. What do you guys think?

Not sure which dress I prefer, but I really like Pinkie's mane.
But of more interest, their necklaces are all related to their cutie marks (sort of for Twi) excepts of Pinkie, who has an ice cream. I'm sure she wouldn't be too displeased.

I've pointed this out other times discussion of the royal wedding has come up, but so far the only linking clue I can find between the new characters and the rest (aside from Cadence being an Alicorn) is that Shining Armor shares Twilight's "element of magic" star as part of his own cutie mark (emblazoned on a shield with three smaller stars above it.) What that connection means, if anything, remains to be seen.

Fluttershy is definitely the best. The artwork is much better than the toys though. I kind of like what Twilight did with her hair - straight's better, but for special occasions it's nice to see something different.
So, do you guys remember, back when we started watching this show, how we all felt silly about how we, grown and nearly-grown men, would get giddy when they all got to go to the Gala, and later when they all got their dresses? I'm having the weirdest sense of deja vu to that right now. ...but they're just so pretty, and Twilight is rocking those curls.
Hmm…Not wild about Fluttershy's dress; the colors seem to clash. Same with Pinkie Pie's. (Granted, I know nothing about fashion.) Truth be told, though, I'd rather have some more individualized stuff. (I've also never planned a wedding before.)
In closing, due to process of elimination, I suspect that Solar's artwork here is the only logical conclusion.

While I've actually been looking forward to the wedding, or at least been cautiously optimistic towards it, I can't say I'm thrilled about these designs. These are nothing compared to the spectacle of their dresses from last year, granted bride's maid dress are supposed to be kinda plain (some might say ugly) but this is a royal wedding, and in a magical fantasy land no less. Also, I'm no wedding expert, but shouldn't they all be in matching dresses, or at least dresses with a consistent color or theme.
Pinkie Pie looks weird without her poofy hair. Still, besides that (and the absence of best pony Applejack) this looks quite nice.

Those dresses are the dread spectre of Hasbro insisting on dresses that match the toy set. Seeing how the toys have crude capes for them to wear, I'm not terribly surprised that they look this bad.
Also, bridesmaids who are all dressed differently? Doesn't that violate the rule that bridesmaids are dressed in a sort of hideous uniform to make the bride look that much better?
Also, I'm amazed that Pinkie Pie managed to get her hair under that much control.
