Announcement! Huge Livestream Ev- wait, I said that.
The Equestria Daily staff will be attending a large Livestream event graciously hosted by Mic The Microphone. There's gonna be live questionnaires from the actual Livestream chat for some top-name musicians, artists, and podcasters from around the fandom (the EQD staff, including myself, will have a separate live Q&Neigh session next week). After that, there will be a brutal Left 4 Dead tournament for all involved. Those with Steam accounts get to play the eliminated teams!
Come on down and root for your favorite community member- chances are they'll be there!

I have yet to witness a livestream - what exactly is it? Sort of a live Q&A sort of thing? Hum.
I wonder how people coped without the Internet sometimes... truly very dark ages. Imagine having to read this stuff in books and newspapers? Yikes. No thanks! I love reading, but that'd be too much for even me to suffer through! Thank goodness for EqD!

I'm a livestream junkie, but these mega-events are too crowded for my taste. It's still pretty entertaining for a while, but without being able to reasonably interact (with the chat *or* the streamers), I get bored a lot faster.
Nevertheless, I am sure shenanigans will abound - have fun!

Mic's livestream was taken down, but he DOES have a new one up.
At the current point in time, there is a viewer cap, which, if it isn't removed by the stream, will result in Mic hosting the stream on a friend of his'. Until EqD announces it, we won't know which.

I hope it's left 4 dead 1. When I think L4D I think Zoey, Francis, Bill, and Louis. I can't even remember a name of a character from L4D 2, except that my friend always shouted RAPECHELLA!! Into the mic when playing as the Hispanic chick. And no, don't ask, it's an inside joke.

Left4Dead2 has absorbed all of the original Left4Dead. Every level and character from L4D1 is playable in L4D2.
Therefore, no one really says 'l4d2' anymore, they just say 'l4d' since everyone that plays the game KNOWS they are talking about l4d2 since it has everything the original did plus more content.
So yea. Anyone out there contemplating to buy L4D, please save yourself the cash and buy L4D2, there is quite literally zero reason to buy the original, and everyone in the community plays the second one so if you buy the first you will be all alone.

I have a plethora of utilities at my disposal - I personally find that, for these new tools, the thought of sifting through magazine & newspaper issues at my local Chapters makes my mind reel.
Until I got a proper smartphone, I did as most and relied on textile measures or the grand and confounding Internet. Now? I don't know what happened. EqD and Tumblir & a myriad other sources have turned me to a different manner of news & report. I can't say why or how, but my life's input is very finite. Good or Bad? We shall see.
