      I'm not going to watch the episode early. Part of the fun is watching new episodes at the same time as everypony else.

      I think we should refrain from doing anything that might make Hasbro think we are a liability. Posting the episode on Youtube and linking it here is a VERY bad idea.

      On a related note, Hearts and Hooves Day seems to have been removed from iTunes.

      Just speaking for myself here, and you're perfectly free to think me a terrible brony even after reading my reasoning, but for the record...

      I tried to buy the episode, but apparently Apple wouldn't let my 8.x version of iTunes purchase it. By the time I downloaded the new version, installed it, rebooted, and got my connection working again, it was taken out of the store. I did download it from YouTube, but at the lowest possible resolution, and I will watch it again Saturday (even though it won't do anything for the ratings) and I will buy it when it's available again on iTunes (the first time I will have purchased *anything* from iTunes, actually).

      So, why did I bother downloading and watching it anyway? Just because I don't want to have the episode spoiled for me before I can see it, and I don't want to avoid all the pony sites until Saturday afternoon just to keep from spoilers. That doesn't excuse my selfishness, admittedly.

      Well, couldn't have bought it anyway. I'll wait till Staurday for that, even if Polish Bronies seem to have no problem in watching it now. I'm okay with this - let them do what they want. Love and Tolerance!

      Hasbro Needs to cut all previous regional ties, and ditch Apple.

      I don't know how expensive and problematic it would be, but it needs to allow the REST OF THE FRIGGING WORLD to access these episodes.

      As of right now, it is ILLEGAL for anyone other than an american to watch the new episodes.

      I'm canadian, and my options are:

      1. Watch on the HUB - Can't. Station does not broadcast past the states
      2. Download on Itunes - Can't. Show is region locked to the US of A.
      3. Watch on youtube. - Illegal, although Hasbro seems to be allowing it.

      Seriously, I try to be a good pony, but when there is no way for me to actually watch it legally, my hand is forced.

      For the folks who look down on me for this, what the heck are my other options? There are none.

      @Greenie-PieYou know what is completely ironic about that? The show was created and still is being made in Canada. And if I remember correctly (probably not) Hasbro is stationed in Canada.

      Here's an idea. If those of us that do Youtube because we have no other options (other countries, Apple glitches, etc.) We could always buy a couple of the toys or sets and donate them to toy drives as compensation. Hasbro makes money, other people get ponies.

      Even though I might be tempted to watch it, especially with all my friends and subs who has favorited it, I will wait to watch it properly air on the Hubs time!

      As for why iTunes may have "Derped" I consider this an act of revenge by Derpy for them taking down the episode where she spoke...

      I can here her now: "Take down my best appearance yet will you, hope you like Hasbro being mad at you iTunes! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

      @Calydonia, they already said they won't. Buy the individual DVDs as they're released, and maybe someday they'll release an empty box that you can put them all in, like anime releases in the 90's. You'll also get all the special features.

      It is funny to see some people here yelling at us for watching it for free. The show's main demo is not us. The fact that they get any ratings from anything outside the target demo is just icing on the cake. Yeah, the ratings now are probably bigger than they initially hoped for the show, but that does not mean it will not do well without us. So just chill.
      Put it this way, Strawberry Shortcake is still on the air, how many of you bronies watch that? I know I don't...

      Does it matter if the link is a few days early? Hasbro still makes the same amount off each iTunes purchase, and this will likely cause even more people to buy it so they can get it early. Hasbro will still air it on Saturday, and (presumably) all the advertisers will still hold their slots on the Hub. Yes, someone at Apple screwed up, but is it really a bad screw-up?

      You know what? You're right. It's Hasbro's fault they're not giving us a better service than pirates. Seriously, it's supposed to be common sense in marketing. Who pirates steam or humble indie bundle games? A lot less than usual, that's for sure.

      They make their shit accessible. Just pay the money and it's yours in what, 2 minutes? How about a MLP episode? Is it really ya guys' fault you can't even buy it? Their loss.

      I'm going to take a guess here and say the new episode Hearts and Hoofs was leaked and yes as the host of the Australian Bronycast Livestream channel, (I have watched it and it was damn good).

      I can safely say those who wait until Saturday morning at 10am your going to be getting a good episode seeing as I'm not saying to much here but I will say this though Big Mac talks more in the new episode so you'll have a laugh feast on your hands or in this case your hoofs

      Why is it that nobody seems to know about Nielsen Media Research? Watching a show on TV to "support" it only makes a difference/means anything if you have a Nielsen People Meter installed on your TV. Otherwise, broadcast studios have no idea if you're watching their shows or not. Therefore, waiting until Saturday to watch the episode on the Hub to "support" the show is stupid.

      Sure, you can make an argument about the "principle" of the matter, but at least acknowledge the Nielsen Ratings thing.

      And also, the error was the result of a mistyped date. "2011" for "2012". Apple/iTunes isn't at fault, whoever at Hasbro submitted episodes 16 and 17 at the same time (Wednesday evening) is at fault.

      There's 2 kinds of brony here.

      "Good" bronies who will watch when instructed by Hasnobro.
      These people are more likely than not suffering from an autism spectrum disorder, or are simply too nice, like fluttershy. Oh no wait, Fluttershy wouldn't try to impose her beliefs on everypony else. You guys make me cringe.

      "Bad" bronies who will watch whenever they want because they can think for themselves and not get bogged down in the details and logistics of a saturday morning girl's show. Watch it from wherever you want, on youtube, via stream, via torrent, do whatever you want. We're not gonna destroy the Hub because we saw an episode in advance. If anything I'm gonna watch it again on saturday because I like livestreams. Plus, remember how Europe has no access to The Hub nor iTunes US?

      @hyreia The REASON Sethisto enabled comments is because OTHER posts were being hijacked by the Leak discussion. That one fic that posted right after the leak post was maybe 2 of 3 messages about THE LEAK for a while. It really wasn't fair for that dude, but that's what happens in a talkative community that has page views in the 117,000,000 range.

      By enabling the comments here, he basically gave the people who WILL talk about this leak a place to talk, without having to hijack threads that don't deserve it.

      I have now watched the episode 6-7 times. There were a few stop and go viewings that I'm accumulating into a maybe 7th viewing total.

      Truth be told, I LOVED the new episode. There were some AWESOMELY memetastic moments, and the song was aDAWWWable! There were two possible shout outs to fanon shipping pairings, and oh God! That one dirt related scene near the end will spawn so much "ponies are on a post human earth" fics. Also... "It puts the lotion on the hoof, or it gets the hose again"... It was ALL I could think of at that scene! LOL!

      I was it and loved it!
