As the author, I recommend you read the Volume I recap. It was written while I was pretty tired, but it should give you an idea of the story's style.
Gotta say that Lyra x Bon Bon shipfic has the greatest name ever. For those of you that don't get it its a joke on "How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb." Might start reading it just on that joke alone. New Shipping and Handling is nice too :D

Elements of Awesome? I wonder if the author went back and fleshed out the characters a bit since I've last seen them. Last time I read the story, I had a terrible case of the eight deadly words.

I find the Smarty Pants one to be excellent. It's so full of random and misunderstandings, but in a hilarious way. It has been compared to Shakespeare's play, Much Ado about Nothing, if that gives you any clues.
Everypony is being shipped by everypony else with everypony else. It's a glorious sort of chaos that would do Discord himself proud.
My comment doesn't do it justice. Let's just say that I haven't been suppressing laughter in public this hard since reading Through the Eyes of Another Pony. Please, read it yourself!
