I started playing age of empires and ignored the email box thinking it would be the normal slow night thing, but it totally wasn't. I think I got all the story updates filed out of there!

Playing AoE 3 is a decent excuse for being late. That game kicks ass.
I think AoE:2 is the pinnacle of rts play.
Not saying that sc or AoE:3 suck or anything, but AoE2 is just a great rts that's pretty balanced, even without any gimmicky units.

lol, I still have AoE1 on here somewhere. Or, are you talking about the 2011 AoE? I played a little bit of that during the 'beta', then forgot to install the release and haven't played it since. Oh well. Maybe I pick it up again, invade you and steal all your leaves :P
I loved AOE1 but never got into AOE2, I never liked the change in scenery. Ancient Egypt >>> Middle Ages
