Both of these are pretty good. Can't really pick out a favorite, though. First one has plenty of energy, while the second has some 'epicness' to it. Yeah, I know. I couldn't think of any other word.
And by the way, Fluttershy starts with "F," NOT AN "R."

I just can't get over Rarity's mane. I know this is been discussed to death, but how does it do that? That is just the most fabulously styled mane I have ever seen.
@Sunset Sprinkles No reason to get worked up. I see this more as playful banter. We all know the debate will never be settled no matter how much arguing we do or how long it drags out, so might as well have a little fun.
As much as Cereal thinks so, I'll never be able to see Rarity as 'best pony' simply because she really doesn't live up to her element like all the others. Call me out on this one as much as you like, but I've yet to see Rarity do anything truly 'generous' since the episode she was rewarded that very title.
@Chaoyll Aside from taking massive amounts of time out of her schedule to make a set of six original, fabulous dresses for her and her friends, then even going against her better judgment and taking their ridiculous suggestions and allowing the fashion show to go through even though she knew Hoity Toity was going to be there and thus the show would likely ruin her career? Because, you know, that's pretty goddamn generous if you ask me.

You're right, actually. Sorry. There was that *one* episode, yes. Yet before and after that, she went downhill. That episode where she's planning to make a dress for Twilight Sparkle but ends up going to all these 'important' events in Canterlot? She even ponders whether or not she should make the dress or go to one of the events, and she ends up going. I wasn't a huge fan of that episode (The song was pretty good though!) for the reason that her generosity doesn't show through all too well.
I'm not saying I don't like Rarity though, hell no, me and her have a lot in common. (I'm female so that makes a little more sense, lol.) She's usually a wonderful character, just her element shines through a lot less than the other ponies.

I'm not remembering all the episodes too clearly, so I might be able to argue several other instances, but meh. What's the point? I just saw a glaring mistake and had to defend the best pony's honor.
I personally loved Sweet and Elite, mostly because of the song. I could defend her actions in it all day.
You probably do make a lot of good points, just no one likes to admit their wrong. Even I made a face a bit like u_u when I remembered I had completely forgotten about that episode.

Rarity's expression of Generosity, much like Rarity herself, is a subtle beast. Very much the expression of "silk hiding steel."
It's there, but you actually have to look for it a bit more. It's part of her charm, actually.
