Remember all those times when I said this community surprised the hell out of me? Well, double that. This is the best possible thing. The team over at PonyKart.net is going all out on this one. Everything from the graphics to the soundtrack look great so far. Apparently this track isn't even finished yet.
They will be opening up more slots for their group on Monday, so stay tuned if you want to help out!

First off, the physics are perfect on Twilight knocking over the apple carts. Second, it's a spot on job with the popular cart racing concept. With your beat 'em ups, your RPGs and point 'n' click adventure games, here's another variety we can look forward to.

I love how they really captured the look and feeling of the show in 3D. Considering the show is made in flash, that is not an easy thing to do.

Hasbro has no clue how to make deals with a fanbase that could make their franchise insanely rich within in a few months.
From brilliantly written fanfics (and some could even be legit episodes), great music, detailed and deep art and comics, and even games that could even rival other big names in the video game industry, it really is sad that Hasbro has no clue how to use the potential to help make MLP bigger than it already is.

The progress you made is beyond anything I expected. Spot on environment graphics and a really great looking Twilight. The kart's drifting looks a little off right now, as if it regains full grip a bit too early. But without having played it myself I'm not really sure.

Firstly you wouldn't be able to have anything like drifting. Secondly, how would you even balance that? How could you make sure a character who can fly faster than the speed of sound has an equal chance of winning as a character who's scared of her own shadow? You couldn't. The karts serve as a sort of "equalizer" to make sure the characters are all "fair". No wings and no magic.

I gotta say, as an aspiring game developer, pony fan games get me more excited than anything else in the community. Now theres 3 incredible pony games in development that im salavating over! And each one is of a different genre!

Looks good. If I wasn't so busy I'd be all over helping out, that said with only 2 programmers putting this together is impressive, they'll do juuuust fine.
This game seems to coming together extremely well.
Nice sense of speed, accurate collision detection, spot on character model, but what impressed me the most was the environment. I really felt like I was riding around Sweet Apple Acres.
The only question now which do I want more, Fighting is Magic or Pony Cart. This video made that a tough call.

I think the proverbial "blinders" are beginning to come off their eyes...
However, they have had quite a few shout-outs to the brony community in the past, both in various episodes and promotional stuff, and in events outside the show.
Still, they haven't fully realized what a gold-mine this is... for which I am thankful.
After all, if they start using the show to get more money off the fanbase, chances are the quality will suffer and mediocrity will ensue. That's the last thing we want. I like it the way it is right now.
If they give us a popular character every now and then in an episode *cough*Trixie*cough*, or a little reference that only older audiences would get, then that's all I need!
