• Music: Discord Rap! // The Nightmare Moon Jam // I'll Be Waiting (Derpy's Song)

Have I used this before? I don't remember, but I'm going to use it again because quite frankly it is the best image ever. At the moment.

It's time for some vocals! I told you you had to eat your vegetables, but, well, you've been so good lately.

    1. Okay, number three made me tear up out of beauty.

So, Cereal's fandom image is Filly Cheesesteak sandwhich, and Sethisto's is the pizza pony, huh?

    2. Scootaloo just might taste like chicken. (thus it wouldn't be steak)

Also Derpy I'll be waiting liking, a bit.

    3. For a second, I though that number one was the original........remix..........

Number two was quite entertaining. The lyrics were well blended and fitting to the tune (a tad bit repetitive for the chorus). But seriously, this was nice. Explicit lyric warning!

    4. Don't think I've ever seen it before.

Darn this fandom makes so much music. I can hardly listen to it all!

    7. Second is good but the voice is too low (quiet)

    8. That third one...there are no words to describe it...

    9. Wow! All three of these are really great songs. (Still working through #2)
But the rap on 1 is great (a little fuzzy recording at some points though. :| )
And MandoPony! OH! You make me love Derpy even more, which I didn't know was possible.

    10. I'm more in the mood for muffins right now, especially after listening to the third one. That was just so beautiful. Mando, if you happen to swing by, this was such a beautiful song. Wish I had a grand piano to try that melody out on. I'll have to memorize that for the next time I go to Steinway Hall (or as I call it, the pianists toy store.) I didn't neglect the other two songs by the way. First was a fun take on the original, and the second good as well.

    11. #3 is the first time I've felt a single speck of respect for Derpy. Most of the ways the fandom (and canon) portray her are just annoying, so I tend to ignore.

    12. Why is there chicken in my filly-cheese steak sandwich? Oh... HEY SCOOTALOO!

    13. Derpy song really touched me and I just listened to it ones

    14. Dat image. D'oh! Funny, very funny. :P

The first one is simply awesome. Absolutely love it. It's probably going to be among some of my favorites. Very nicely made. Lyrics are thought out and flow pretty well. Beat was really kickin'! Overall, it's a great piece.

The Nightmare Moon Jam is pretty good too. Lyrics are good, it's pretty fun to listen to.

Awww, sad Derpy song. :( Makes me teary-eyed to listen to. But it's such a wonderful little tune about one of our favorite ponies. Singing is sweet and helps convey the emotions well. Nice and soft melody. Really like it. And of course, it's by Mando. Another great piece, Mando.

Everything tastes like chicken. Except chicken.

      That tastes like bacon.

    16. Dat Mandopony, making songs that sound like they belong in one of the classic Disney movies that pockmark my childhood, Fantastic song.

    17. #3 this is how i feel right now when my 3 brony friends betrayed me & left me (they said i was annoying & other things but i was not doing anything to them so im just really devastated that 3 BRONIES LEFT ME!)now i don't trust anybrony... but myself *plays linkin park - shadow of the day*

    18. @Dusk Shadow It's a shame something like this happened to you. Scenarios like these anger me to no end. It's instances like these that show the true colors of our "friends." If they can't accept you for who you are, then they are no friends. It's hard to trust anyone again after something like that, but just try. Trust me on this, since I've found myself in this situation more times than I care to remember.

    19. Saw number three earlier. It's already resting in my "Ponies!" playlist in iTunes.

Awww Derpy I just wanna give her a big hug.

    22. How did I miss another Mandopony song? Good thing I'm in the privacy of my own room right now. I'd look weird if I was hugging my computer monitor in public.

    23. #! isn't a good rap, there's no wordplay, the flow is bad, and the rhymes are way too simplistic.

      ReplyDelete
    24. #1 The problem with rapping is that you either you are on the level of Tupac Shakur and Adam Ostrowski or you cant hope for any good results. There are no "Jessica Blacks" in rap.
Music is fantastic, so is singing.

      #2 Well, it's nice.

#3 Mando? Sheesh... I guess I'll have to listen to it for the 50th time now.

      @Dusk Shadow
In such situation it's always good to take a step back and rethink things. I used to have a friend for several years whose behavior was worsening with every day, being around him was becoming unbearable and tl;dr, as a 20yo he was still acting like a 15yo. It was ok when we were all 15yo but not when we were 20yo. We started to exclude the guy from many things and it only worsened his attitude. After he finally got asked to go away and take his shit with him, he started to blurt out things like: "friends betrayed me & left me (they said i was annoying & other things but i was not doing anything to them so im just really devastated)". I'm not trying to put any blame here on anyone - I can talk only on the most general level - but situations like "all of a sudden friends betray me for no reason" don't generally happen.

    32. @Dusk Shadow
Sorry to hear that, Dusk Shadow. Maybe, they just misunderstood you or they are not really good friends. I can not say for sure what went wrong but know that your not alone in this matter. Your true friends doesn't have to be a brony or fan of anything. Just that they like who you are, Dusk Shadow. Bronies can be bastards too. Like MandoPony for making that sad derpy song. Dammit! Why can't I stop playing this dam song!?

      ReplyDelete
    33. mandopony my friend once again you have blown me away!

      ReplyDelete
    34. I love the brony music core, but I can't help but say Mando is my favorite composer. Plus, they're already happy enough- hope is a joy in itself.

    35. #3...

That Derpy song is so touching.

It makes me happy that she had the scenes she did in Fallout: Equestria.
