And Ellen (and for that matter, everyone) can't naturally speak with that effect added to her voice, BECAUSE IT'S AN EFFECT ADDED TO HER VOICE WHEN EDITING THE AUDIO AFTERWARDS. How could you possibly think that that's how she actually sounds when reading for GLaDOS?
LOVE THIS! Thank you's to whomever helped to coordinate this to happen, you've made many a brony very happy. Also to the Portal haters out there, ask yourself this. What is a video game meant to be about? The answer is story line, and this game has a better story than almost any other game I've played.
This one is getting a bigger response then the last one we made(Red Sniper) and it only took one day for someone to edit it I see. My friend(the girl that the letter is being handed back to at the end) made both of these letters and I edited it for her as well as recording the video being used here. We were originally planning on getting the voice of Sheogorath to do something as well, but we all woke up too late for that panel today.
Well huh. I could've sworn there was an article about this VA being a fan of the show and would've have gladly voiced a pony if asked. Must've been someone else.
And yeah, I like portal, haven't gotten around to play Portal 2 yet...
@choppasmith The sniper from TF2 is this woman's husband and performed a similiar act, reading a letter to princess Celestia with his character's voice. That may be him you heard about.

I am so surprised that that is actually her voice. I'm sure lots of post-production goes into Portal but WOW she's awesome even without it.
