#1 The music definitely makes a difference here. Don't get me wrong. It's a great comic on its own, but that particular piece from the movie adds a whole new dimension to it.

Ya know, listening to the first one´s music, i reaized how much movies have changed for children. I mean, The Hunchback of Notredame was for 6 year old children back then and if i go in a children movie today in the cinema, then...
Well, it´s still good but no where near the emotional experience, suspense and grim darkness many children movies had before 2000. Anastasia, King of Lions and ofc Notredame, all those movies and many others were great to watch, some even genius pieces.
But nowadays, i still find those movies good, but for me they can´t reach the old ones Disney made. Dunno, they seem *defused* to me.
Maybe it´s just nostalgic speaking outta me and i just can´t see the genius of new children movies.
That first one...sweet Celestia...
The second one was just WTF though. I honestly didn't even notice the egg in that episode!
