TINGLE, TINGLE! Where? I have a cannonball with that guys name on it, he's the most hateable guy in the Zelda series and yet... we love to hate him, we really do. He will tolerate our pain.
No, no... I'm pretty sure it's Tingle. Unless Navi somehow beat him out for annoyance factor, though I heard they mellowed her out in the later versions after the N64 debut. So Navi isn't the most hated, it has to be the green spandex wearing fairy hunter.
The owls name was Kaepora Gaebora, hard to pronounce really but I don't think he's that hated.
Though Spike might hate Kaepora Gaebora, he's a known owl hater.

Loved the first comic. Favorite part: Subtle use of the "MY LEG!" line. That was my favorite background voice clip from the show.
