    1. YAY, EXCITE. I mean, I already watched the non-HD one, but.. yes!

    2. Beautiful quality! :D Already watched it but, heck, I'm gonna watch it again~!

    3. Watched this yesterday and slept at 2:30 am

    4. Not exactly HD (yet?) but pretty awesome. I'll have to watch it when I can keep the volume up, the crowd gets quite loud over the VAs.

      ReplyDelete
    5. lol, after I just watched the SD one

      ReplyDelete
    6. I hope a version comes out that tones down the cheers. Can barely hear the VA's without cranking up the volume... then instant hearing damage.

    7. As Twilight would put it:

      YESYEYSYEYSYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!!!

I only wish I could have been there ;-; You guys are amazing for making this happen! Love you bronys!

    8. The questions about Derpy Hooves after 0:55 mins was interesting. That and a few other questions missed from the low quality stream are worth listening to.

    9. Reliving the memories. Everything about this segment is just packed with win. I'm telling you guys, it was an absolute madhouse in there. I'm still tired and my voice is still weaker than Fluttershy's from all the screaming, but I wouldn't have traded it for anything else.

    10. If any of you will be in attendance at BroNYcon with Lauren Faust, I have one thing to ask of you, from one brony to all bronies. If this show has done ANYTHING to help you mature, please show it. I've yet to see a single irl encounter between the community and the creators of MLP where they were not made to feel very uncomfortable. Show respect, humility, self control. They are not bronies... they're doing this for you. Please appreciate that and make them feel genuinely loved. I know the antics feel as though they're all in good fun, but try to put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Don't let this Discord distract you all from what's important. You've all got such a great thing going, don't ruin it. If it's a disaster, I'll have to turn in my brony card.

    11. You posted this literally right after I finished watching the one linked in the post below. :|

    12. @DashAttack
      I know the feeling.

      ReplyDelete
    13. Is it just me or does Nicole Oliver seem really uncomfortable during the entire thing?

      ReplyDelete
    14. This is why I can't stand where this community is going sometimes. Anytime anypony says anything I'm literally getting my eardrums blown out, and I put my volume down to minimum on both YouTube and my PC in anticipation.

Enthusiasm is one thing. Fanaticism is scary.

    16. @jerry

I think all three VAs were quite uncomfortable

      ReplyDelete
    17. The second I heard Ashleigh Ball say 20% Cooler my life was complete.

      ReplyDelete
    18. This entire scene seemed very.... awkward.

      ReplyDelete
    19. EARRAPE damnit i swear everyone should really refrain from chearing every 10 seconds...

      ReplyDelete
    20. I agree with tpk - it's okay to be excited, but it's not okay to be creepy.

      ReplyDelete
    21. Seems like it was neckbeard central over there. I would feel like a fish outta water there with my short trimmed hair and clean shaven face. Someday perhaps I shall be as nerdy as the rest of them, until then, I shall continue to meander in the periphery of the fandom.

      ReplyDelete
    22. Sweet! Thanks for posting =D Watching this only confirms that someday I need to become a voice actress so I can have a fanbase to go forth and follow my commands BWAhAHAha!

      ReplyDelete
    23. I, uhh...well...hrmmm...

First off, I do feel really bad for the guy who got the footage. Awesome picture quality, great seating spot, the jerk with the billboard in front of him didn't keep it held up high like an inconsiderate fanboy...yep, awesome set-up. I hunkered down, put up the volume, soothed myself into the vibe with an introduction by Apple Cider and Chef Sandy, seemed the camera guy was doing perfectly fine and-

      "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

And then he had the misfortune of sitting next to the one whooping obnoxious idiot in the room. Great job, you one lone vociferous buzzkill.

"YEEEEEAH, BRING THE SMALL CHILDREN UP FRONT!!!"

Oh God. I can only hope the Internet hivemind's punchline goes in the bring forth the human sacrifice to Ashleigh Ball direction instead of...yeeesh...that OTHER direction. It's really just too easy.

So yeah, I'm sure it was a blast to be there, I'm sure everybody was excited by the day's events and the countdown leading up to the panel. I'm certain of it, it's understandable people are riled up and a bit crazy. I'm also sure that the Bronyville's audio quality is a lot more coherent. But seriously, to that individual whooping and screaming fanboy going out of his frickin' mind batty in the presence of these VA's...calm down. Please. Not for the sake of getting better footage (well, partly for that), but to show the people who work on this show that we're quite contrary to you.

      Sane.

      ReplyDelete
    24. The crowd's enthusiasm is great and all but holy crap it makes it really difficult to watch because I'm constantly hovering over the volume controls :I

      ReplyDelete
    25. I was wearing HEADPHONES AT MAX VOLUME! I jumped so bad that my laptop hit the fell to the ground. And my ears are still ringing.

      ReplyDelete
    26. "Ok, let's go ahead and watch this thing. Hmm, it seems a little quiet. I'd better turn it up. Ah, now I can actually hear the voice actresSSSWEET MERCIFUL CELESTIA MY EARS! AAAACCKKKKKKGGRRHHHSSS!!!"

Yeah, I understand being excited (Heck, I was clapping while watching it), but that seemed a little overkill. Seriously. Ow.

      ReplyDelete
    27. I wonder how Everfree Radio's will be different? Where was their (non-livestream?) camera? Were there yelling people near it?

      ReplyDelete
    28. Yup, I was in the audience during that whole panel. It was a hell of a lot of fun. Even if I was slightly falling asleep due to sleep deprivation. lol

      ReplyDelete
    29. Not gonna watch right now cause good heavens the crowd is certainly loud even when the VA's are talking. Is it at all possible to get a transcript.

As for the obnoxious dude. There is always "that guy" when it comes to conventions no matter what it is.

      ReplyDelete
    30. they are my gods! with out them I would be nothing. (says hard core pony fan)

      ReplyDelete
    31. Future Brony convention goers:

Stop hollering no matter how exciting things get. Stop yelling at the top of your lunges, but instead, try to crescendo with claps if you must.

It's REALLY annoying to see that video and the hollering was drowning out the interviewees and the voice actresses and sometimes they had to speak up to even be heard. Come on bronies, you guys are better than that. Why make it into such an awkward thing by yelling so loud MID INTERVIEW as to disrupt the whole thing?

How about some etiquette? I'm sorry, but I'm kind of let down by the fanbase right now. Treat interviews like they're interviews, not like some rock concert. Do better next time.

      ReplyDelete
    32. Lol, this fandom is one big heap of nerds. Love you all!

      ReplyDelete
    33. While I understand the permanent ear damage some of you may be facing, you would be fooling yourself to think that this is "unusual" fan behavior.

Let me elaborate, go to any one of the bigger anime conventions and you will find a scene very similar to this one right here. Is it fanaticism? Yes. Is it unusual for what can be defined as a cartoon? No. Trying to change it is like trying to reverse the flow of time.

      ReplyDelete
    34. ^

Maybe so, but maybe bronies should actually TRY to live up to its 'better than the usual fanbase' mantra and try to actually have more of an etiquette about things.

It's just ridiculous for crowd chatter and extensive explosive yelling to drown out the character voice actresses we supposedly love and adore. They kind of seemed a bit irked by it all. Not cool at all.

Being any kind of a hyper fan/geek shouldn't excuse explosive screaming at an INTERVIEW. More people need to call this crap out.

      ReplyDelete
    35. All you need is camera and a record from an audio system (you, know, to record directly from microphones) and all will be well.If anyone have such record, maybe someone could put it together with this video?

      ReplyDelete
    36. I know a lot of people above are saying how uncomfortable the VA's must have been and everything but I would like to say this:

I was part of security for the con. In fact, not only did I help guard them during their signing but I talked with them while they were hidden away and resting. They had nothing but great things to say about the brony crowd. They said there wasn't a time they were uncomfortable, weirded out, or anything like that. They mentioned how in a lot of other cons you do get some inappropriate people but they didn't get any of that here. They loved the entire crowd, took everything in stride, and loved the enthusiasm everyone showed. They were really great people!!

      ReplyDelete
    37. @ShippoyashaI get what you're saying and I agree, I'm just being realistic here. ;P

      ReplyDelete
    38. People, do you really have to scream like little girls on Backstreet Boys concert?

      ReplyDelete
    39. I need to wait for a transcript. Seriously, I made it though 3 mins of bleeding ears before I had to call it quits. I hope that one idiot dies from infection of the larynx.

      Transcript anypony?

      ReplyDelete
    40. Yea, to much fucking screaming, we're bronies, we're not supposed to be load and obnoxious, that's for the fans of Michael Bay movies or something.

      ReplyDelete
    41. Oof. I've dealt with screaming people next to me at panels during cons, but this is insane.

Could someone go back through, tone down the volume of the crowd and maybe raise the volume of the VAs so this is more tolerable?

...I think my ears are still ringing.

      ReplyDelete
    42. I honestly didn't find a problem with the sound. I guess I found a good medium where I could hear the VA's and the loud yelling wasn't harsh on the ears. I would say just keep trying to balance it out, guys! ;D

      ReplyDelete
    43. @Otaku

I've been to a dozen cons and seriously, the nerdiness of this one almost rivals AN. I'll stick to the Brony meetups for mow.

      ReplyDelete
    44. The audience sound was a bit loud, guess I'll just wait a bit longer =P

      ReplyDelete
    45. If the crowd honestly appreciated there visit (which they do ov ahhaahah) then they should put them selves in da shoes of dem peeps yo. Basically they should try not to yell at every sentence because anyone could tell there tolerating it but getting annoyed nonetheless. That "ahahha...shut up" WAS EPIC!!!

      ReplyDelete
    46. @Shippoyasha Damn right, I'll drink to that. This fan base needs some epic awesome catalysis (like myself, I won an award for modesty *squee*)
To base itself on, they were just plain rude.

      ReplyDelete
    47. @DruVirus

Oh thank you Dru Virus ! I hate how people assume things from the VA just because THEY are annoyed by other's behaviour. They clearly didn't seem awkward. Nicole Oliver even gave a hug (lucky ba.. brony :D). Honestly !

Anyway, for what it counts, I'd like to thanks all the people who recorded the convention. Especially Everfree radio who managed to do a live stream and allowed me to have one my best moments as a brony !

      Love & Tolerate :p

      ReplyDelete
    48. I have no idea what some of you are talking about; the entire panal looked fantastic, even on the livestream. If a crowd goes nuts that's usually a sign that their happy, and the VA's (especially Ashligh) looked pretty pleased at it.

Maybe I've just been to too many US events, but I get a smile every time the audience shows their appreciation.

(My computer also did not seem to have much trouble handling the loudness with the quiet parts, so that might have a hand in this.)

      ReplyDelete
    49. I couldn't finish watching this. Mr. Scream-o next to the camera was drowning everything out. Anypony with audio editing software, can you do an audio balance on this for us?

      ReplyDelete
    50. Kinda had problems hearing their voices without the crowd damaging my ears...

      ReplyDelete
    51. I wonder where Puzzle Plate is in this...

      ReplyDelete
    52. Nicole mentioned the cookie thing about 26 minutes in. Michelle Creber said the same thing while responding to a comment I left on her Facebook fan page.

      ReplyDelete
    53. Oh, Andrea Libman is just adorable! Whenever she says anything I just want to hug her :3

      ReplyDelete
    54. Brian NO! I wanted to hear your question... I bet it was brilliant!

      Sad face.

      ReplyDelete
    55. This video picks up where the other left off at 7:10 ish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omXJKjQK_zk&feature=related.

      ReplyDelete
    56. Are some of you guys serious? This behavior is beyond typical for any convention.

Is it annoying? Yes. Is it gonna go away? No. Don't fool yourselves, this was a pretty good interview process all things considered.

      ReplyDelete
    57. My headphones are nealry dead, but that was a great panel. The fans did go a bit overboard cheering every 10 seconds, (Almost like a Vic Mignogina panel I was at) But fans will be fans. ^^;;

      ReplyDelete
    58. I'm a fan of the show and all but i think a "Con" for ponies is a bit much. This is Fandom at an obsessed level. It just seems like a bit much to me. Do they do "Con"s like this for other shows? Was there one for Power Puff Girls? Is there ones for other shows out there?

      ReplyDelete
    59. @DruVirus
This is really great to hear.
I really think that most bronies are trying too hard to find cases of their fellow members of the fandom acting inappropriately. Sure, there are some of us that do partake in the more inappropriate parts of the fandom, but I like to think that the majority of us have the sense to behave in front of those that bring the show to us!

On my own thoughts, I really think a lot of the people in there were being rather rude. There was a LOT of rather loud chattering going on.
Cmon, guys. These wonderful people took aside some of THEIR time to come out and see us. The least you can do is give them your attention!

And kind of on that same note, I understand that everyone was excited about them being their. It's the VA's from the show for Celestia's sake! But I did think they were a bit TOO enthusiastic. There's no need to scream and holler over EVERYTHING THEY SAY!

Regardless, it was GREAT to see them come out for us, even though I wasn't there. Really hope to see them out again when I can be around, and SO glad to hear that they enjoyed themselves. Always made me smile when I saw them smile.

      Pony on, friends!

      ReplyDelete
    60. Ashleigh Ball was one of the most impressive moments at the BronyCon!!!! ^_^

      ReplyDelete
    61. Really enjoyed the panel, is great to see the faces behind the voices and the stories they had to tell :)

      ReplyDelete
    62. @Tokyo Oranges

I agree. I admit that I do like Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman and Nicole Oliver, but geosh people curb your enthusiasm a little bit. Sure it is nice to show your support but let's be a little bit considerate and not make the ladies feel uncomfortable.

      ReplyDelete
    63. Thanks Luca. It was amazing to see the support but also cringe worthy when they said a basic line and everyone was like ZOMGWTFBBQOLOLOL but I did find myself laughing and clapping at appropriate times... so I can't really say anything. I mean, i'm just in my room and my brother passes by and sees me, red face, laughing like a maniac and clapping at a computer screen with 3 people standing behind a table.

      ReplyDelete
    64. Does no one realize that the Derpy question at 10:24 basically spells out that Derpy gets at the very least a speaking part? "Is Derpy not speaking _yet_?" "We're not at liberty to say." AW YEAH, DERPY BECOMES A TERTIARY CHARACTER! :D

      ReplyDelete
    65. And by "10:24", I meant "1:00:24".

      ReplyDelete
    66. If the peeps embraced fluttershy's character then their cheering wouldn't even be loud enough to be annoying *squee*. Nah I'm just kidding but it would be nice to get a perfectly done "YEAH" done as if it was an episode of CSI occasionally.

      ReplyDelete
    67. @DruVirus

Read what DruVirus said. The VAs loved the enthusiasm of the crowd. :D

Think of it this way: they probably didn't expect to get any recognition at all for their work on this cartoon. How awesome is it to walk into a room full of cheering fans! As someone who was there, I can assure you there was nothing but love and respect all around.

This was also right on the heels of an absolutely awesome episode. Prior to the episode there was just enormous energy from the Fighting Is Magic preview. I also wonder how many of you folks have actually been to conventions before. :)

      ReplyDelete
    68. @Bobbyzero

There were a lot of people with clean-shaven faces and neatly trimmed hair. There were folks of all types at the convention. :)

      ReplyDelete
    69. A lot of this panel looked very awkward to me. The host didn't exactly have the best stage voice or disposition, so the whole thing came off kind of creepy.

      ReplyDelete
