Please give a huge thank you and round of applause for the incomparable and recently christened (Riot) Reinboom for writing our new submission script. She saved me from Michigan, and now she's saved me from death by e-mails. My hero!

You need to make sure you select the actual image url and send that. Do not link the DA page, or it will fail. Right click the image, select "view image", and put in the resulting page. Thanks, and sorry for the confusion!

Well, that's the point of this event, right? Give it a shot, draw a pony, and submit it. It may not be great at first (or for awhile), but you can certainly get better with practice.

Dusty, you aren't the only one. I tried submitting it using my DA link and it said 'image upload failed' so I had use imageshack to resubmit it.
The website says it can't display the page when I hit submit. Does it still go through?
If only these hands and this paper could make magic beautiful enough to show to my fellow bronies but sadly magic is not present in this world *sigh*

No, what you should do is right click on the picture and select "view image url" or whatever it says. You need to submit the actual image link, and not anything else.

i can't draw and i work most days, but i'm still going to try this. My thing might look like shit, but at least i tried and contributed, and thats part of what this fandom is about
While the event is great, my drawing is shoddy at best and there's no way I'd be able to finish by the deadlines for the whole event. May just take the themes and work on them in my own time.

i feel like a moron lol. i went to a hole other image hosting site because i couldn't for the life of me see the "copy image url" on my deviantART page. after i submitted it from the image site i went back to DA to see if i was doing it wrong. when i right clinked on my image there it was "copy image URL" option *facehoof* i think i may be blind lol
p.s. sure my first drawing was pretty bad but i refused to go back and redo my first submission. it was the first pony i ever drew and i want people to see how i have improved since this event first started. seeing as that's what this hole thing is about. ^ ^

I've uploaded my drawing on imageshack, used direct link in submission form. I maybe went a little overboard in comment section with description. After I pressed "submit" it gave a blank page.

I'm very sorry it's not working. To help make sure you're getting proper messages with the submit box, I've added:
A database warning error in case my database broke on that upload.
If the upload was success, it should respond now with a thumbnail of the image you uploaded.
If you still can't get it to upload, email me or Phoe the submission directly. I'll make sure to get your submission up.

Folks, don't send your pictures into Rein, no matter how many problems you have. I can't ask her to do that much. If it consistently breaks, tell me. I can very easily get the stragglers up into each and every gallery. I have super powers and way more free time.
Okay I am done coloring. I just need to upload it somewhere. I'll do that in the morning. I'm okay with it considering the tools I was using. Color pencils and a normal Pencil and a sketch book and the internet for reference tools for pictures of things and my imagination.
