Personally, I found the ending to be in terrible taste. I'll concede that mine appears to be the minority opinion, but I can't find any humor in the idea of someone being repeatedly, aggressively raped, regardless of the respective genders of the victim and the rapist.
As a concept, I did think that "every mare in Ponyville goes into heat simultaneously" had comic potential, but the way the story concluded just killed it for me. In light of my mixed feelings about the story I'll refrain from rating it, but I felt that this could have been a very funny fic had it gone another direction.
It was amusing as a comedy fic and the gags were funny.
I really REALLY don't like the concept of Ponies going into heat.
Although the way you wrote it seems like a period of heightened libido rather than an exclusive period of sexual availability. So not SO bad.
If every mare in Equestria including the Princesses go into heat simultaneously, what is the point of the males leaving town? There's nowhere to go.
Also... ALL the males ran off? They fled to avoid an orgy? Um... not so believable...
Also Bic Macintosh was all "I don't want a relationship."
I'm pretty sure none of those mares were looking for one...

Ah, good, I wasn't the only one who found the combination of Big MacIntosh getting raped and the [Comedy] tag a bit incongruous.
I can actually find it plausible that the mares of Ponyville could synchronize their estrus, it's not unknown in the animal kingdom. But that's a side issue, really.

Yeah, it does require a bit of suspension of disbelief, but the premise is humorous enough to be worth it.
As for the rape bit, yes, by definition rape is bad. Do note that it hasn't actually happened, however. Chapter 1, folks, cliffhanger ending. He'll almost certainly find some way of escaping at the beginning of chapter 2.
It is a good setup even he got into the trap of RD being seemingly fillyfoolish.

You need to take shipping less seriously, especially in a comedy fic. Especially considering all the other content in this fic, a little tiny reference to AppleDash "ruining" it for you seems a little extreme.

It's just something I try to avoid it when I can. I didn't say I would stop reading it, and I'm trying to take a little less, like Silent Ponyville 2 is a Dash ship but I really like the story of it.

New chapter was nice wrap up.
Portraying the scene in Canterlot akin to a zombie apocalypse gave the story just the right tongue in cheek that the first chapter was sorely lacking.
I agree with DPV. I like the first chapter, but this one just was so much... better. I think the reason so many people objected to the first was that it wasn't as obvious how silly it was supposed to be (outside of the scenes with Rainbow Dash), and this one did a good job correcting that.
