I think I'm about to lose another power supply! They just cant handle the Great and Powerful folder buried in my pony collection. It's too much!

This is likely not the best spot to ask, but I'd like an opinion on Fallout: Equestria. I'd like a nice long pony fic to read, and I really enjoyed Past Sins, but I'm a bit nervous about starting Fallout. How grimdark is it, really? It sounds like a really good story, but I'm more than a little afraid that it'll wind up to be too intense for my tastes.
Basically I'd just like someone's opinion on Fallout: Equestria to know how grimdark it is.

It gets gory at times, but it is fantastic from start to finish. I highly recommend it. You can always stop if it gets too much, too. I sort of became numb to most of the violence at some point.

Yea, Fallout Equestrian can be slightly graphic at times, but I haven't stopped reading it for a week now, almost at the end. It's also funny, I've sat giggling to myself a few times!
The way that some of the plot is given is quite clever too, and quite unexpected. So yea, it can be a bit grim, but you get over it pretty quickly, it has the legendary tag for a reason. :D

I see two that have my attention...
Seth there's two things that will kill a power supply. Being drawn at over 80% capacity for extended periods of time, and dust. Try plugging your video card in on its own rail and use the other one for all the small stuff life your hard drives.

You try Corsair power supplies, Seth? I use them and they never failed me yet.
@Hayguard +1 for Corsair. I've used two of them for two different computers. The older of the two is five years plus and running like a charm. And like @BossManJohn pointed out, dust can do it to. I lost an entire computer to dust and now I make it a point of regularly dusting out all of my computers.
Getting back on topic, nothing that I'm reading...yet. Might get started on one of them today.
Another thing that could be killing your power supplies is wonky power coming from the outlet (yes, "wonky" is the correct technical term. Or, it would be if I ruled the world). Get yourself a nice UPS with a power conditioner to even out the power coming into your PC. A surge protector is nice, but it doesn't help in every situation.
