Its the Feeling Pinkie Keen: Christmas Edition fanfic!!

You'd think someone who practices magic on a daily basis would be more willing to believe in an entity like Santa. But alright, let's go with the fantasy.

Scullylight and Mulder Pie time!

This raises a point I've been thinking about. Does Equestria have a Santa Claus stand-in? Is another pony or is it a reindeer?

... I guess I'll read and find out.

I guess Twilight needs to be taught another lesson. You'd think after Feeling Pinkie Keen, she would have learned.

Well that was a nice read. So what if it's FIMfiction?? It's still a good fic

Looks like a good read. I'll give it a shot.

@Bombedrumbum

What do you mean by "so what if it's FIMfiction?" Are you implying a dislike of the site? I be curious!

litewarior4 said...

I agree with Bomb on that, I really dislike fimfiction, at least until they develop a mobile version. I do all of my fanfic reading on my phone, and Fimfiction is the only place that has no mobile support which screws with my phone a bit.

@blakefebruary7
>implying fanfiction isn't usually terrible

I'm bored. This sounds like a good read.

inb4 Twilight lets goof her hate

No, that is not a misspelling.

This story is so sweet.

@blakefebruary7

I was addressing the haters of the place, by telling them that they should give it a shot, regardless of what website it's posted on :P

I personally don't dislike the site, - some of the best fanfics have come from there - it is just common knowledge that EqD has a higher standard for fanfics than FIMfiction, which is one of the reasons why many people don't read a fic just because of where it's posted. Bronies, the very fact that it's here on EqD means that it's a good fic that has surpassed the strict standards, okay?

@litewarior4 Droid X2 here. :p

@the invincible

She fits right into the Flat Earth Atheist trope, so the premise is believable.

I for one think this could be humorous if done right, I'll give it a shot.

Ah, the Santa logistics conundrum, answered so smoothly and expertly by everypony. This is why Ponies rule.

Great fic, amusing, sweet, and episode-like. Five stars.

The rhyming version would be the perfect special for next season, narrated by Zecora. Great story for the holidays. Five stars.

If there are any Santa-related reindeer in Equestria, you can bet they're pegasus reindeer, flying with wings instead of "magic" like in every other depiction of Santa's reindeer in popular culture over the past 100 years.

@litewarior4

I understand what you mean. However, FIMfiction is actually more mobile friendly to me than google docs, because google docs on mobile doesnt allow me to download the fiction as a .txt file, so I cant read them unless i'm online. (I don't have an android phone, just a high-end mp3 player. Kinda like an iPod touch, but with android.) With FIMfiction, I can press the download button at the top of the page and read it in my e-reader. I have an android device, and after i download the TXT file, I move it to my MLP fictions folder, rename it, and use moon reader to read them. Do you have an android phone?

@Blankments: Oh man, that would be goddamn epic.

That synopsis actually sounds like it'd make a good episode :P

Very good! But the end was sorta predictable. nonetheless very well done

Now that I've read the rhyming version, I can't stop myself from rhyming with its immersion.

This story was a really good read.
Not many stories in this time of greed.
The first I read in Zecora's Voice.
I admit that was my first choice.
After Pinkie Keen, she should have believed.
In the end, I am glad and relieved.
Thank Equestria Daily and to you too GWFan,
I think I should go off to eat a flan.
To Twilight Sparkle and to Lauren Faust
My Little Pony is better than a game of Joust.
By Luna's Moon shining oh so bright,
Happy holiday's and to everyone, good night.

As a final thought, not to sound droll.
Celestia really does seem like a troll. ;)

Whoah. For some reason, I absolutely didn't see the revelation coming. This was a fun and cute read!

Well... there were a couple of errors here and there (Rarity said,[double space]", It get's awfully cold," An), the writing was a bit clunky, the ending could have been done better, but the idea was there. Not fantastic, but certainly not bad.

This is the best thing ever. Merry Christmas!

Don't believe In Santa Hooves!?
That's like saying you don't believe in Pinkie Pie.
Happy Holidays everypony!

@blakefebruary7
Silly, just use Dropbox! The mobile app has support for Word documents (along with PDF's and a bunch of other file types) baked in.

blakefebruary7 said...

@Harakou

My preferred method is to use a standard text file with this as my reader (http://goo.gl/kQoe7)

What exactly do you mean, anyway? Are you telling me i can go to google docs on my tablet and i can download them? =D Because not even the official docs app doesnt let me do crap when when im not online.
