I figured Ditzy was short for "Ditsiana", but I guess that's just from reading another powerful fan fiction about our favorite mail mare.
So far, Phoenix Quill, your story seems to be taking the right direction: good setting, good story line, and character actions that make sense.

I definitely agree with Tundra on this; so far the story is looking pretty darn good. Granted not much has happened just yet, but I will most certainly be keeping an eye on this one for when it updates.

I'm a little apprehensive of the combination of the Sad and Random tags. I read that COPS fic here at EqD that was tagged "Comedy" and it really wasn't at all.
Nice opening chapter, Derpy reacted very understandably and it was nice to see ponies standing up for her for once, in most of this type of story no-one seems to, looking forward to seeing the next chapter

Hey for anyone out there that reads comments, My internet is shut down, and Its going to be a while until I have it back, Until then I am writing the second Chapter (have been since Dec 5th) When my internet comes back, I promise you shall have at least one new chapter.
HHHmmmmmpppphhhhh. Might have known that somepony wouldn't make the connection between "explosion of color out of nowhere" and the accident that left Ditzy's eyes messed up. Too bad for everyone that said idiot tends to go overboard when she does realize she's done something wrong. If things work out the way I think they will, Rainbow Dash isn't the first one using the phrase "Stop helping!!"
