Twixie shipping?
I can work with this.
Pancakes.
Fuck yeah.
Sounds like a good read, and now I'm interested as to why it has, "Pancakes," in the Additional Tags.
Incomplete, it haunts every aspect of my life. Even fanfics
I'll read when it gets completed.

I'll never understand Twixie, but a 4.8 on Fimfiction? that's nice.
@wackypony
Never trust a rating on Fimfiction.
Twixie shipping is best shipping. I may just have to read this.
I sure hope the initial lower rating was just more ninja's jammed in the rating system.
@Cottonmouth
I know. <.< though they seem to be fair enough. they're good on skimming out the bad fics by marking them with .5s.
And so I read a fic about Twixie
@Shadow Heart
was it good?
I've read plenty of shipping, but never Twixie because i prefer to keep my shipping amongst the mane 6.
@Ten_Tacles
true story bro
I've already been reading this on FimFiction, a great Twixie Fic IMO.
Pretty decent so far, sure it's no Ballad of Twilight Sparkle or Out of the Cold but it's a very rare fic that hits the quality of those Twixie greats.
@wackypony
It's gonna take a while. Its over 20k words and multi chapter. Usually Twixie pairing is good so give it a read. They usually involve Twilight falling inn love withh Trixie and finding her in bad shape. Trixie moves in with Twililight and learns lesson about arrogance. They mostly just put a spin on this to make it their own story.
In short, read it yourself
Yay! Never thought I would actually see it on here, do let me know what you guys think! I can use all the feedback I can get.
I took a read of it and it's pretty good!
Maybe a bit too much set-up but it was still an enjoyable read, no doubt.
A Twixie fic, hmm? This should hold me off until the author of a different Twixie fanfic updates. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!
HOLY *, THIS MADE IT TO EqD?! O-okay, it looks like Trevor is going to proof-read the previous chapters afterall...
~ Magical Trevor, Minstrel of Equestria
Anything Twixie-related just makes my heart melt. I find this pairing really adorable for some reason.
I'm liking this fic. A slow journey for Twilight in learning her feelings. I have to give credit on how well her emotions are shown as well. Though, I think the rest of the mane 6 are a touch off.
Congrats to Vyreinos! You did it, man! This story is awesome and totally deserves a post here. Twixie is best ship, after all.
Twixie journeyed to the store because she loved pancakes, but the store was out so she cried. The end.
Very good so far I can't wait for the next chapter!
Amazing fic, can't wait for chapter 8 :D
Twixie? Pancakes? Crying?
me gusta...
Huh, chapter seven reminded me of The "Elfen Lied" anime, I wonder if the author meant to do that or if it's just a weird coincidence. Well anyway, good fic so far!
Cliffhanger.....OH WHY!!!!
How is this not 6 star?!?!? probably one of the best Twixie ships i have read ever! well, except for the cliffhanger and the total revamp of the story... life goes on.
Twixie with bonus Flutterdash?
Oh my god this is the best story ever.
In terms of content, I cringed at the first chapter because portions of it came off as kind of cliche'd. After that, though, the rest of the story wasted no time being perfect.
good update, I can't wait for the next one.
And it's incomplete!
Which means they'll carry on from here!
Which is &#@!$ awesome!
Seriously, this chapter ended on an impressive note, I'd love to see how the rest of it goes.
darn, that cliffhanger kinda confirms the suspicion that i've had ever since death said she'd lose something
she's gonna lose her magic, isn't she?
oh well, i just hope the author brings something up about how celestia responds to her student being magically crippled :p but most of all, i hope i'm wrong, because otherwise i'd be sad, happy sad, but still sad :p
Yeah... I kinda had no doubts about what Twilight would lose. I mean, Death said she would lose something important to her. So since she hasn't lost Trixie and there has been NO mention of Twilight trying her magic as part of any of the tests... yeah, it was telegraphed a mile away.
Still enjoying the story though!
We've already had one "Of Mares and Magic". Don't you dare give us an ending like that.
I hope I'm not the only Twixie fan that didn't fall in love with this fic.
It has its moments, certainly, and all the drama and saccharine as firmly set ground work; but I was a bit off-put early on by the reliance on sleep as a plot device, and, to a lesser extent, eating. Sleeping, passing out, and pancakes seem to move the story from scene to scene more than anything else. Not that it's poor to use them as such, just my opinion that at the current levels of usage it's damaging.
Then the "Death" scene! The stage piece falling and no one noticing and poor Twilight and I'm on the edge of my seat and then... death?
That the incident would kill Twilight was a bit of a stretch in itself, but then to coat an already sufficiently difficult to swallow pill with "Death" the pony and all the trappings therein nearly had me tapping out.
Again, this is something that isn't inherently wrong to use, but has stuck in my craw quite stubbornly. The concept is interesting, no mistake, the setting is described quite well and the scene by itself is quite entertaining; but in the context of the overall story I can't see it as anything but greatly unneeded, as well as out of place, particularly Death as a character. Snip out that whole beginning, the concept of the field versus the door and meeting Death and all that inner conflict and go directly to the denial of the aether, and I think there's a much more solid scene. Perhaps find some synonyms for "Tendril" and "Void", as well.
I can hardly criticize a story for being too dramatic, as that line is all too much a personal one, but I will say that I've found my own line. Everyone's so quick to sob and wail and fall in love.
All that said, and I really hope I haven't laid on my distaste too thickly, it's apparent that a lot of work went into this. The settings are painted beautifully, the concept seems well thought out, and most of the time in Trixie's wagon was quite sweet. I'll keep reading because of all this, despite my misgivings. When it works, it works.
Should the author read this, know that I am pulling for you, and wish you both further learning, refinement and continued popularity.
Does anyone know why I can't go to fimfiction.net?
I've only read the first 4 chapters but so far this is incredible - it's been ages since I've read a story that I can hardly tear myself away from (like this) and it's great to get my head back into a good book. Unfortunately it's gone midnight and if I don't stop now I won't get up tomorrow (though at this point that doesn't sound like such a bad idea!)
This is actually the first FF story I've picked up. I didn't think I'd be able to get into them but but after reading this I see I was very wrong indeed. Funny enough I was the same with the TV show.
Very impressive story and I can't wait to read the rest of it!!
Finished reading all 11 chapters and I'm very much looking forward to the next one - I'm eager to see how it all turns out!
Tags need updated on this. It's taken on some darker, sadder themes lately that I've found a touch upsetting, so I've stopped reading.
