Of course the very first thing that comes to mind when I see the title is the song Party Rock Anthem. lol Dat description. Certainly sounds like a rather interesting story.

That reminds me... I've put my Tomity story, Stone Hearts, on hiatus, in case anybody even remembers that and was wondering. I'm ironing out a few chapters of my Scootaloo adventure epic, my Fancy Pants romance, and a couple chapters of my Rarity's Tale second revision.

I think it was a hawk, but that's a minor quibble. An even bigger quibble is that the bird in question left the episode looking like he was a good sport about the loss. But I'll give this story a look anyway.

There is one major flaw that I can't believe the prereaders let this fic go through for:
Italics. OMFG so much unclear italics! Apart from that I liked it until Fluttershy showed up in Tom's story, but that's a headcannon clash so completely personal.
Italics should not only be used a bit less, you switch between which characters get the italicized comments as well as using it for thoughts.
Discworld references ahoy! That was an... interesting take on the outcome of that episode, I'll give you that. For some reason, I always thought of the falcon having a French accent.

I really enjoyed this! It's short, it's sweet, and there's just something I love about talking inanimate objects.
Is the name "Boeing" reference to the Boeing aircraft company and that they kinda helped General Dynamics to make the F-16 Fighting Falcon?

Author here. As you may have read at the end, this started out as mere crack. I have no idea what to think of it as a story, but I thank you all for reading and commenting!
@Warden: Yes, the italics abuse was a gamble. I was relying on the establishment of the scene and character speech styles to do the work of name tags. If FF.net allowed multiple fonts, I probably would have used that instead.
@pmcollectorboy: I could have sworn that he left looks very disappointed. Hmm. ==
@GenocidalAssasin: The tortoise was named Tank. I just picked the closest aircraft name that came to mind for the falcon, and that was Boeing.

Never judge a book (or a fanfic blogpost for what matters) for its cover...
I was expecting something completely ridiculous but you wrote some surprisingly deep stuff here (while keeping it simple and random enough to not dive into sadfic territory).
This little story also made me think about something... I'm so used to see [Comedy] and [Random] tags mixed together that it's hard to picture a random fic without being a comedy one (I think I've read some authors dong the same mistake, by tagging something random and doing comedy too).
The only critic I have would be the lack of sense some of these events make, but why should I judge that in a [Random] fic? There is also the little issue with the Italics but it becomes less noticeable after a few paragraphs. (or maybe I got used to them, I'm rarelly bothered by this kind of issues)
This was a good read. Nothing mind-blowing nor awesome enough to consider it a masterpiece or a MUST for any fanfic readers out there, but a really enjoyable read.
