It's not cloppy. Not sure where you're getting that, other than the implications (and that's it) of the last scene.

Upon finding no sign of Rarity on the ground floor, Twilight ventured upstairs and into Rarity's bedroom. There she saw the consequences of a 2-ton boulder rolling atop a pony...

The pre-reader told me this was going to get some interesting reactions, He wasn't kidding. XD
This fic is pretty good, though not as good as this one Applejack/Bloomberg clopfic I read a little while back. He (?) had this one branch that Applejack had sanded and smoothed and prepared for a particular purpose...
So I went into this fic expecting goofiness what I didn't expect was such a cleverly written piece. This was fantastic especially considering what the author had ta work with. Even Tom himself in Rarity's eyes could not outshine what a gem this is.
