The music community over at My Little Remix is doing a huge charity album. Proceeds from the sales of it will be sent to the Children's Cancer Association. Right now they have a whopping one hour of quality music ready to go, and more to come!
On top of that, the people that donate the most will gain access to some really neat prizes donated from the art/custom community, including:

The commission prize from me will be a composition like this with the quality of this. (The first one will be at the quality of the second when I finish it, but it gives a better idea of what this prize will be.)

Oh, well...
I use Hackintosh (A Mac frontend on a Dell Netbook) and download iLife '11 to go with it, that includes a program called "Garageband" that is very useful. If you are using Windows, I suggest Fruity Loops. If you are using Linux or any other open source OS I suggest Audacity.

I went out of my way and raised $488 to get some quality music software. I am a Wondows user, and hardly at that. All I have is a tablet laptop that has a cracked screen and brokem cooling system/fan. Currently, the only way that i've been able to make music is by just poorly recording myself (using my phone) playing the piano and then putting that straight up onto YouTube.
Bottom line: I am dedicated to making quality music using quality software.

Garageband and Audacity are not bad choices for a beginner getting into the electronic music scene. I started on Audacity, and then moved up to Cubase 5, which was a big jump in regards to technical difficulty, but the basics I learned from Audacity transferred over pretty well.

First, obviously, don't feed the trolls.
Second, remember that few things draw people together like actually being persecuted by bigots. And we are already a fairly tight community largely full of people who strive to their higher virtues. (Yeah, we have a few trolls and undesirables of our own, but they are a unimportant minority.) Folks like the NCF are only making the brony community stronger. By contrast, they remind us what we stand for.
I fully expect the brony community to outlive the show itself. We'll shrink, condensing into the best of us, but projects like this charity effort show the kind of generous, good-hearted people at the core of the brony fandom.
And that's not going to change just because there are bad people on the internet.
I'm very sad that things had to come out this way, but I'm sure that what Meepsheep has said here can be used for very good evidence in whatever legal proceedings may follow. Everybody reading this can rest easy knowing that he/she pretty much dug their own grave here, so stop responding to him/her and just leave it be.
Just remember that we can fight against this by supporting the album and letting those kids have a smile-filled Christmas despite what happened here today.
This is an intentional falsification of copyright infringement, one of which that is against the actual owner of this work.
Considering this project is to raise funds for charity, this is also an intentional hampering of charitable efforts, one of which those few extra dollars lost could mean the difference between life or death for a child.
I support the fullest extent of legal action allowable under law.
