As many of you probably know by now, especially those of you in the music community, Not a Clever Pony has left the pony craze. He left a final album for everyone to invade. It's currently up with an option to donate on his bandcamp page. I don't know how many downloads it has before it caps, so you might want to head over there and pick it up!

No, that's not a joke. Not A Clever Pony's "Luna: As Imagined" Album was the inspiration for my most popular image i've ever drawn. It still gets favorites on a daily basis, months after its been posted. My only image to get past 30 favs, and its almost at 400. a few thousand views (three times more than either my DA or FA main page.).
A true inspiration to many. He leaves behind some very big boots to fill.
IANACP was an inspiration to us all. I just downloaded all of the tracks in that album and tried to donate $10. I dunno if it worked or not. I hope it did.
Shame that he's gone. I'd hate it if this was some popularity stunt, but damn I'd be so glad he was back.

He was the first great brony musician, was back from early Season 1. He was an inspiration to many of the well known brony musicians of today.
His first works are the most popular, and arguable, the best songs in the entire fandom. (Google the song For The New Lunar Republic, I'm assuming you heard it before, or one of the hundreds of remixes people have done)

Not a Clever Pony was a major person in the music community of MLP. His most famous piece is probably For the New Lunar Republic, along with a host of other songs.
He stopped making music as he has a illness (it will be with him for the rest of his life) that required him to spend less time working on music, and instead working to buy his medications. A few months back he announced this, along with a bit of letter saying how wonderful it has been
NaCP was one of the first brony musicians I followed, with All Powerful Trixie being the first fan made song I heard and downloaded. He's made a big impact in my life and many bronies out there, and he will be missed. I'll happily donate to help him out.
I'll admit, I didn't listen to much of his music but it was really fantastic, everything has been said before but he inspired alot of people and made alot of great music and he deserves all the praise he has recieves/is recieving.
We'll miss you, Not A Clever Pony! Of course, I'll be looking for your other non-pony stuff!

I'd never heard this artist before, but I have to say this whole album is remarkably good. The whole thing about having to leave the community is a little strange though, unless he's going deaf or his obsession with ponies was starting to get unhealthy. I can say I know the feeling...

NACP, if you are reading it, and I find the chances slim, please know YOU are the reason I got into the fandom. I listened to Lower the Moon, and was immediately hooked. You showed me the light.
I don't fully understand what you're going through, I won't make any judgement, but if it is at all possible at any time, come back. We would welcome you with open arms. And we say farewell with tears and full hearts.

iamnotacleverpony's "For the New Lunar Republic" was one of the first fan MLP songs I ever heard, and is still one of the best out there. It's sad that he left, but not everything lasts forever. Good luck in whatever you are going to do, and thanks for the amazing songs.
I've wanted to donate to several pony artists but I just don't have the extra money right now.
However, NACP was the first pony fan music I heard and has a special place in my heart. Since NACP is no longer producing music I may not get another chance to donate so I gave what little I could and downloaded the album.
I hope everyone who is able will donate whatever they can, he deserves it.

I'm really upset he didn't finish the sunshine and celery stalks song. It sounds really good. I wish for him to get better. I never really listened to his songs until he left, but I love them.

Pretty much the same circumstances as me. I was oblivious to this whole Pony fandom, until I stumbled across NACP's Lower The Moon. I immediately got hooked, bought the rest of the album, then decided to give the show a try, and I've never looked back. To this day, Princess Luna: As Imagined is one of my favorite albums of all time.
While I'm sad to see you go NACP, I wish you the very best and hope that maybe someday, you'll come back.

Downloaded the whole album without listening. Gave 3 dollars. Don't regret a cent. Hope you get better Not A Clever Pony. You're still my favorite Brony Artist.
Till listening to The Arto of Celestia's Dress. Wonderful tune. Fits my mood perfectly. Kinda sad sounding, but light hearted and hopeful. In my opinion at least.

Sad to see him go, but everything has to come to an end.
I'm not the richest brony in the world, but ten bucks is better than nothing.
I don't have a way (meaning all of my money is either in the bank or in cash, and I don't have a credit card) to donate any money to the cause at the moment, but as soon as I do I plan to re-download the tracks and give some money to NACP. He's definitely one of (if not holding the position by himself) the best.
To be hindered by an illness that robs you of your passion? I am reminded of Lou Gehrig (who's nickname ironically was The Iron Horse) and how he was stricken in his prime by a disease eventually named for him. Is this album akin to Not A Clever Pony's Luckiest Man on the Face of the Earth speech, then? I am ignorant to what he has, and only know him by some of his music; I nonetheless pray his illness isn't malignant or lethal in any way.
I wish him well in his trials ahead, and may the appreciation shown by this community never waver in it's displays of kindness.
Finally, I've listened to this entire album, now. It was fantastic. What a talent is lost in him.
That's enough of my poor attempts to wax poetic. I'll buy the album, It'll be of some contribution to the guy.
So let me guet this straight... One of the artists that very much founded this fandom must quit. Why? (I hope I understood that well) Because he has an illness that requires him to work hard, so he can get money for his treatment. And that work won't leave him enough free time to keep making music...
Bronies, how about making sure he gets all the money he needs from making music? We would need to ask NACP first, of course, but as a community, we CAN provide him enough money for his treatment, and we CAN skyrocket him to a popularity that goes beyond the brony community.
