its a poem of how awesome bronies are, how seas2 failed (how?) and much more
in short bronies care more about themselves, their own little world than the show itself
its not about the show or the characters its about how self important bronies feel about themselves (as it shows by constantly asking the creators if they "knew about bronies" on interviews and such)
the person that did that should feel ashamed

I just stated that Twilight Sparkle was best pony in the project I'm working on... weird coincidence. My favorite pony will forever be Pinkie Pie though.

I don't think it was so much bashing S2 as it was just bringing up memories of our anxiety over what it could have turned out as. The main lesson I got from it was that no matter how the show plays out, our connections with one another as part of this community is what's important

I have to agree with you about that poem, I think. I realize it's meant to be fun but it does come across as a bit arrogant, and kind of summarizes some of the problems with this fandom (namely, the way it seems a lot of people treat the fandom as more important than the show)

its not that the new seasons is "failing" i think their just trying to hard to please the bronies. instead of looking at it as the target demographic and the parents who may be watching. It seems like they're more concerned about the target demographic plus the bronies who they know are watching

Hey cool, my dragontongue translations got posted. I'm glad some people liked them, as a few of them were rather hard to do, and I actually scrapped a few I wasn't happy with, such as Spitfire due to not being able to find the word for Breath (EVEN THOUGH I KNOW IT EXISTS, GRRRR.). Oh well, glad it's being enjoyed!
Also, I liked the poem. It wasn't saying the second season is bad, it was saying that a lot of us were afraid it would be, but even if it was, we still had each other because we're awesome. Right? I don't know.

...where the heck does it say Season 2 failed? It says had Season 2 failed (as in, a hypothetical situation), the community would've stayed strong and kept supporting each other, because our relationship at this point has developed to the degree that it's encompasses much more than just the show itself. While the rhyme and meter could've been a little more easier to swallow at times, he never once dissed the creators or the show itself. All he's doing is admitting that he values the friendships he's made through the show more than he does the actual show, which is actually pretty awesome.

The Cupcakes Dream game is really fun. Looks pretty good overall too. Though there was something I noticed. On the most far right, when I jumped there was a little highlighted box. Not sure what that's for. Only guessing it's probably not supposed to be there. lol

I actually liked the poem myself and thought it was pretty decent overall. Though I find it kinda ironic it says "thousands working as one", but of course Seth, Phoe and Cereal are on it as per usual in these things. lol I'll just chalk it up to it being impossible to fit thousands of ponies on there. ;) It really is a nice poem though. I enjoyed it.

Alot of neat stuff tonight.
Since "Winter Wrap-Up" is the episode that cemented her as my favorite, I'd say that description of it is about as accurate as can be, because TWILIGHT SPARKLE.
And I do kind of miss her being the central focus for each episode, but I do feel like they needed the freedom of the post Lesson Zero format. Still, I can't help but notice that the first three Twilight central episodes of the season were my favorites so far.

I like the poem. Granted I'm not a big poetry fan but it has a nice determined feel to it that I like.
The MN brony group has been having a meetup every month like clockwork at the mall.
We're on the Rainbow Dash network under meetups, but we don't use that much. (somebody normally posts the meetup times though.)
The facebook group however, has over 200 members and it quite active. search Minnesota bronies on facebook and you'll get it.

Finally got around to looking at this. So it appears Twilight has cemented herself as the best pony. I'm pathetic at choosing just one out of a small group, so my favorite tends to vary. Now that fighting game; I might need to play a few rounds of Smash Bros in preparation.
I enjoyed the poem, even if I'm not sure what tone it's going for. As for the Dragontongue names, they only further fuel my double addiction.

No, they're not. It's already been stated that they're not changing the show on account of the older fans (with the exception of more Derpy/Ditzy), and that all the little references and such (which have been around since the beginning) are for their own amusement.
Oh god, Fluttershy's Dragon Tongue name, "Faasviing", translates to "Fearwing"...interpreted differently, though, that's the most badass and consequently the funniest name for Fluttershy ever.
When I get Skyrim, I am SO naming my character Faasviing. XD

The poem isn't saying season two sucks and the fandom is better than the show. That's only my personal opinion. (Except I'm really loving season two. Don't understand all the complaints. It's a kids' show. Watch it like a kids' show.)
