On other notes, I didn't see the Scootaloo picture. Now I really feel conflicted about my vote. The banner at the top of the final selection post was awesome, but so is the Scootalove! Argh, indecision!

@Offtopicrainbow The winner doesn't really reflect the poll. Basically, people who wanted a banner with the mane 6 split their vote across multiple entries, while the Scootaloo fans all voted for her single entry. Same with Luna and Derpy fans.
This is a problem with polls and elections - the type of voting system you pick can change the outcome. For polls with lots of choices, allowing people to vote for, say, their 3 favorites tends to produce a more accurate result.
That's not to say it didn't deserve to win. It's very cute, definitely top 5. All the winners are very good. Congrats to the artists.

Not to sound like a sore loser- because most of these are great and defiantly deserved to win- but I can't believe 4 was so highly rated. I'm sorry, its just a bunch of vectors slapped onto a bg. I'm a bit disappointed something like that was outvoted compared to some other lovely banners that I felt were one better and more work were put into them. *shakes head*
Besides that, however, I knew Scootaloo would win, hooves down. Great job everyone and have a Happy Hearthwarming, Merry Christmas, or a Happy Whatever! <3

Coming from the author of #4, I'd just like to say that not everyone can artistically "slap" things onto a background. All in all that took me about an hour to make, if I had to guess. I don't care if you like it or not, you need to respect that people liked it and that it's art regardless of your opinion. I worked hard on that and I think it shows through.
