#1: Harwick scores again! I love this drawing: great colors, lots of detail, and terrific expressions for the characters. Twilight's frazzled mane is a nice touch, as is the Joker. My favorite part, though, would have to be Fluttershy and Angel. There's lots of good art tonight, but this one has to be my favorite.
#2: Wonderful holiday crossover; somehow Pinkie makes that beard work.
#6: A beautiful teacher/student moment; I love how it looks like Twilight's under a blanket, but it turns out to be Celestia's wing, turning a metaphor into reality.

I actually like most all of them this time around, especially the ones with Dashie.
It's always a happy day when I have something in a Drawfriend, even if the rest of the day has kind of sucked so far.
1) Okay, so maybe Angel Bunny went a little too creepy. I find that rabbit scary under normal circumstances.
2) Beautiful image of Pinkie and Jack! Love the beard.
3) Lonely dash looks like she has search high and low. Low and high! Cute portrait!
4) That is the cutest genocidal pony ever drawn.
5) I would pay to see that act. I would pay to fly to the necessary city to see that act. Love Crooner Spike.

#12, Legends of The Hidden Temple! Damn I am getting OLD! The last time I saw the show was 15 YEARS AGO when I was 7! One of those old Nickelodeon favorites along with Double Dare and GUTS! I miss those shows SORELY. Hopefully we see more pony invasions on some more classic Nickelodeon shows, #12 has hit me with so many great memories!

8. Oh Rarity, you backstabber...I like the touch with the very slight, almost unnoticeable traces of blood. It's just enough to make it clear she back-stabbed him without being gratuitous.
The Poker one is pretty funny. As for the rest, it's a good quality assortment, though not really with any standouts. I do like the different interpretations of Spike as an adult.
I did not expect to see a ponies/Legends of the Hidden Temple cross-over o_o That right there makes this Drawfriend for me XD

Title image is both wonderful and slightly creepy. Angel Bunny looks positively diabolical, and I couldn't be happier about it.
Lots of Spike/Rarity, a pairing to which I can't help but be ever so slightly averse, so I won't comment aside from saying that I found number five super cute despite my bias. Good work.
Numbers six and twenty-seven both made me "Awwww" out loud, to no small amount of embarrassment.
Number twelve completely threw me for a loop; I can't for the life of me remember the name of the show, but I sure do remember the nightmares that statue gave me. I remember thinking that people got invited to be on game shows like jury duty, that one day a letter would come in the mail and I'd have to go on the show and face that horrible head and its smoke machines. NO JANSPORT BACKPACK OR WALKIE-TALKIE IS WORTH THIS. D:

o_O Am I the only person who finds the idea of shipping Rarity with Spike in any sort of serious fashion just a little bit creepy? I mean, as Twilight is constantly reminding us all he is just a baby dragon, after all.
But I digress, I suppose. And while I'm afraid I don't have much time to comment on each of these artworks as I'd like to, as I need to be heading off to work soon, I did at least want to comment on #1. Once again, Harwick dear, you have graced us with a lovely fanart. I honestly had the idea of a 'ponies playing poker' artwork a while ago, though it's probably for the best that you got around to creating your rendition before I did mine, seeing as how I seriously doubt mine would have turned out so nicely. While the humor and expressions throughout this piece are my favorite qualities, the art itself is lovely of course; beautifully colored and shaded and once again I see you are able to make your gold look so real wish I could reach out and snatch it out of the screen. Truly, a fabulous effort.
I also really love the coloring style of #2 (and somehow, this suits Pinkie Pie well), and #15 is hilariously, and delightfully random to me. I can only wish I had more time to comment on more!

On one hand, you would expect a creature that can hibernate for 100 years to mature slowly; on the other hand, Spike did mature very quickly in "The Secret of My Excess". While I'm not a fan of Rarispike shipping, it doesn't bother me to see fanart of Rarity together with an older Spike.

Spike's a really difficult character to peg, at least for me. On average, he seems far more mature than the Cutie Mark Crusaders, for instance. He was hatched the day the mane six got their cutie marks (so I guess his birthday party marked the anniversary of the first Sonic Rainboom and all that went with it as well) so the cast is only older than him by however many years old they were then.
My best guess is that the age division (as I see it) would be something like 7 year old CMCs, 14 year old Spike and 21 year old Mane Six. Just... you know... converted to pony ages. The problem is that all of the characters act older or younger depending on the episode.
So yeah... ultimately, seeing an 18-21 year old Rarity involved with a 12-14 year old Spike is just plain wrong. I don't really see it as a romantic pairing, despite the last episode. I think there's a great deal of affection flowing both ways, but the romantic interest is only from Spike.
But, like jodyjm13, I'm not overly upset by future versions of the couple. I don't think it'll ever happen, personally, but a 7 year age difference or so isn't especially upsetting once you're talking adults. And since I don't see most of the shipping pairings ever taking place, that's just another one for the batch.
On a separate note, thank you both for your kind words on the poker picture (and thanks to everyone else as well). It's been well received and seems like a good choice to be the first one to debut on that DA account.

#1 is the greatest piece of art I have ever seen. Everything about it is amazing: the subject matter, the detail, the expressions, the atmosphere, and of course, Dashie. #24 Why do people think that basses (and girls who play basses) are awesome? The electric bass is the fool's instrument. It is what you play if you can't play guitar that well or if you can play guitar but someone else in the band can play it better. I don't think Rainbow Dash would ever settle, even for a Rickenbacker, or even for a フリクリ reference. She would play guitar, all the way, rocking out some sweet Joe Stump solos and DragonForce and such.

Great piece. This one immediately went into my wallpaper rotation. I especially love how Angel is basically playing for Fluttershy, for some reason.
I'd say that Spike, for the most part, seems to act like a teenager. At the same time he and Twilight balance each other out quite frequently. Spike is apt to call Twilight out when she gets too deep into her OCD tendencies. At the same time, she will often rightfully chide him when he's acting immature.

At face value, Rarity with an older Spike doesn't bother me either, except by my understanding of dragon aging by the time he would be an adult, she would be very old if indeed even still alive... (it is always depressing when I even think about that). I mean, we've been shown that dragons can mature quickly if given the proper "stimulus", even though I thought that left Spike a rather mindless brute too. But oh well, I'm sure the fandom is capable of justifying it one way or another, and it doesn't have to be my cup of tea so yes.

Dash would get hooked on coke, become a total asshole, and eventually kick the rest of the Mane Six out of the band. After wasting 10 years and millions of bits working on a vaporware album, she'd hire Lyra & a bunch of other BG ponies as replacements and go on a ill-fated comeback tour marred by Dash no-shows and fan riots after said no-shows. Then she'd finally release the (surprisingly decent) album, but almost nopony cares at that point.

Personally, I have trouble seeing Spike as a teenager; for starters, one of the first things that happened when he went through his growth spurt in "The Secret of My Excess" is that his voice got deeper and he became tall and gangly, changes we tend to associate with the onset of adolescence. Mentally, though, he does frequently seem more mature than a typical pre-teen. I suppose a child reared by Twilight (and Celestia, to an extent, I'm sure) could be expected to be somewhat precocious...
