There was just one person that asked that Tumblr account some question about switching hair style, so this artist probably thought it was a funny idea and made a comic about it.
Good lord, that 2nd one read my mind..I was just thinking yesterday how a DDR-style game would work in Equestria for any kind of challenge.
(My answer: add in diagonal steps at the corners of the pads.)
The first one was pretty cute as well...personally, I think Vinyl's hairdo works quite nicely on Octavia. (Can't say I feel the same about the reverse, though...)
... Honestly, I always thought DDR would have eight thingamajigs in Equestria, to keep up with the pattern of four for us two-legged species. Of course human DDR would be easy for quadrupeds... console gaming on the other hand; not so much. XD
Well, if it can be shipped, it will. Case in point, the first comic. And the second one, I can definitely vouch for the inevitable insanity. It also seems like Kinect and DDR are the only games that could work and thrive in Equestria.
