Thus the paper also changed to something else. Still odd though how the newspaper stated something that had not even happened yet.

If it doesn't need to be immediately, then wait for a good episode shows up. Now, I know that all episodes are good, but one that she is the most likely to enjoy.
The episode Return of Harmony worked well for me. I played it safe, and it worked.

#1: Spike, I do not believe that is appropriate reading material. For anyone, really.
#2: I need one of these hats. Now.
1. It didn't quite go in the direction I thought it would...I was hoping it'd be an Early Edition style comic, the sort of thing you could easily make a series out of. Instead, it ended with an admittedly funny joke. It also made me worry about how much alcohol Twilight is imbibing.
2. Erm, I don't think that kind of hat is all that practical. Granted, while it may be possible to build the glasses so they join together after passing the horn, it looks like it would be too easy for them to break on a unicorn's horn. On an Earth Pony or a Pegasus, however, it would work quite well.
Top three things I think of when I hear/see the word Twilight:
1: Sparkle
2: Zone
3: Shinryu
Gold star for those that understand the third one.
Comic 1: Early Edition did indeed come to mind as I continued to read on. My only question for Spike is if that's volume one or two he has?
Comic 2: Rarity, Fashion Genius Extraordinaire. Leave it to her to come up with the Hat Shades. I figured, much like the artist themselves, that the bridge of the shades click together after each lens descends past the horn on a Unicorn. Otherwise, there could be settings/designs to not worry about that for Earths and Pegasi. Simplest answer, Occam, etc.

You know what? That actually seems like the most plausible theory.
1. Spike is reading the Argonian maid again. While Twilight is stuck in the Twilight Zone.
