For New Years Eve, from 2:30-7pm Eastern (7:30-midnight UTC), Celestia Radio is hosting the Top 50 pony songs countdown, hosted by PonyToast. The countdown is based on votes by bronies, and the voting was really, really close! The list features prominent artists such as BeatleBronies, Ken Ashcorp, Swagberg, PinkiePieSwear, Alex S., The Living Tombstone, WoodenToaster, Griffin Village and many many more. Who will reign supreme? Find out!

I get the feeling that EqD is so busy that we're just going to get 2 hour posts instead of hourly. I get that i's pretty slow on weekends but this is unbearable. I'm going to see if I can raise the moon early so I have time to prepare for new year's, after all, time is different where I am.

I have to say that I was rather disappointed that there was so little orchestral love going on. Makkon, Dr. Dissonance, AJ The Engineer and plenty other composers are easily among the most talented around. That all said, I can't really deny that those songs and the musicians responsible for them all deserved being there.

I can agree. I love some good orchestral. A lot of songs didn't make the list and I was surprised. But you know, it's the votes that count!
