About time!!! I've been sucked into the tumblr blog ask community and love it!
Also, I'm sorry, but canceling out at least gore is unfair to the more grimdark part of the community. There are plenty of blogs I enjoy but once and a while feature some blood or something of that sort. And even if it is more hardcore, I still find it personally biased to a section of this fandom.
Why can't you have the blog collection, but also label that it is also gory/NSFW/etc? Then it could be the views own personal choice whether to visit or not.
But if this is the final decision you have made, I will respect that. I'm so glad to see a collection of these blogs finally being made!!! <3

It is perfectly well updated and all. I'm not saying it is a bad idea to collect it here on EQD too, but for those who just want to search for a ask-spike blog or something, this is a perfect starting point.
Tumblr is an evil place with tons of disturbing shit. It's where various kinds of deviants meet. Nevertheless, there are quite a few very interesting pony ask-blogs and just for them I started visiting that place. I hope that this list will aim to filter the content giving us the best tumblrs, not the list of them. 90% of pony blogs out there are not worth visiting even once.
Writing it just to give you heads up about things that will not (hopefully) appear on EqD but you might want to seek them out for massive adult lulz. No links, just hints.
You may want to ask futashy about things. Especially her relations with her owners - a jolly couple consisting of Pinkie and Dash. Twilight was also visiting lately. It was fun ;)
Also asking lil' miss Rarity is very interesting. She might have had some problems but after talking a little to her imaginary camera, she may be alright now. If she doesnt end up in jail, that is.
Cutie Mark Crusaders have their problem as well. One of them being Rainbow Dash who likes Scootaloo. But they will never stop crusading until they get their cutie marks!
