BroNYCon is going to be FLOODED with big names. I can't believe how open the team behind this show is. Purple Tinker once again has a whole bunch of awesome news for you, including the big announcement of Ashleigh Ball (Applejack and Rainbow Dash) signing up to attend!

It is with great pleasure that we announce a last-minute Guest of Honour for BroNYCon January 2012, the wonderfully talented Ms. Ashleigh Ball, voice of Rainbow Dash and Applejack! In addition to voicing two of the Mane Six, Ms. Ball is a talented musician (heading the band Hey Ocean) and a seasoned voice actress. Her IMDB entry can be seen at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1868320/ .
Ms. Ball joins her previously-announced MLP:FiM costars Ms. Andrea Libman (Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy) and Ms. Nicole Oliver (Princess Celestia, Cheerilee) on our VA panel.
But that's not all. We're also adding a number of additional special features to the convention, including:
* A special appearance, via Skype, by PinkiePieSwear at our Musicians' Panel!
* A demo/appearance from the staff of The Fiends From Dream Valley!
* An appearance by the good ponies from EverFree Radio!
* A possible special surprise from the creators of 'Epic Cupcake Time'!
Plus, good news! Due to the huge number of special features we're adding to the con, we're extending the length of the whole convention by an hour or so! (The final schedule will be posted soon.) Even more amazing pony entertainment for your bits!

This is cool and all but I certainly hope that the attendees can control themselves. I'm not sure what happened with Applebloom's VA's youtube (can't remember her name) but it seems fan related. The fans need to control themselves because not all forms attention is welcome or appropriate even if it was asked for.

I agree that the last thing we want is for the staff and cast of the show to think of Bronies as creeps.
I'm not sure what happened with Applebloom's VA, but it is a shame if some of the fans made her feel uncomfortable after she went to the trouble of posting a video for the community to enjoy.

It didn't have anything to do with the fans. Apparently, she needed to get Hasbro's permission. It was mentioned in the last Nightly Roundup.
@Val_Heart: The issue with the Applebloom / Sweetie Belle video wasn't at all fan related. The video was taken down until Hasbro gives permission to repost it (at least according to Everfree Radio, reposting an email).
And man, this is seriously tempting me to attend more and more. I even have free flight tickets to redeem...

Wow, major props Purple Tinker, the lineup of special guests are amazing. That's nothing short of impressive.
I hope some people get footage of all the main panels. I was a little disappointed at how little video came out of the last BroNYcon. There were lots of picture, which was great, but some nice YouTube uploads of the special guest talks would be really great for the other ~50,000 bronies that won't be there.
They need to move that con to BRRR Minnesota.

In the iTunes interview Seth posted a a couple of weeks ago Tabitha noted she doesn't attend conventions. Which is sad, but that interview was years ago so maybe she changed her mind.
I wanted to do everything to be there especially with the voice behind my favorite pony Applejack.

According to Voiceprint with Trevor Devall back in March of 2008, when Tabitha St. Germain was Trevor's guest, Tabitha didn't seem interested in doing the convention thing.
It's a shame, really, because I think she's hilarious. Seriously, look up the podcast. She's very silly (which is awesome). :D

The BroNYCon will be one of the most anticipated show for the My little Pony fans since July's Comic Con 2011. I Can't wait for the actual BroNYCon to happen in January!!!! ^_^

Thanks to this post, I have spent the last twenty-four hours in total agony. I love Ashleigh Ball, and my initial reaction was that I must go to BroNYcon to see her. Technically, I have the time and the money to do it.
However, the hotel and plane would cost me nearly a thousand bucks--no small change for me--plus I'd have to accommodate my work schedule around this thing. I literally couldn't sleep last night because I've been trying to figure out if it would be worth it.
After all that agonizing, I've decided that it's just too last-minute and too expensive for me. However, I'm holding out hope that Ashleigh Ball will return to a future BroNYcon.
Fellow bronies, please be kind to her. I hope she has a nice enough experience at January's BroNYcon that she will want to return another time.

Totally know how you feel. I'd have the option to stay with a few different friend in NYC, but I don't have a job at the moment and really shouldn't be spending a month's worth of rent on a plane ticket.. as much as I want to meet Ashleigh Ball.
