Rest were neat, though. I'm glad my preferred version of This Is Halloween got picked over that one with a bunch of fancy special effects that added nothing.
I LOVED the peckish pony, i think it could have been higher as well, but there are just so many good contenders! (i still think peckish pony was wicked)
Of all the "This is Nightmare Night" -videos I prefer this one as to my mind the scenes are best fitted according to the lyrics. Luckily in that video voted to the top 10 the song is the original, not the one covered by Marilyn Manson. I really don't care about that stuff...
I think my sense of humor and taste is backwards compared to the community. my favorates were at the back while the ones I disliked the most were towards the front. I ESPECIALLY disliked that appljack one.
And I agree with EquineEguinox, number 9 is really great. Made me laugh when I first saw it.
Also to u2ps, if it's the apple.mov you didn't like, I really didn't get the point of the video either. I also didn't like the drawing style nor the voices. It just didn't fit in with the original series.
Ah well, I guess I should vote myself next time, not just make my "smart" remarks disagreeing the public opinion.

Some say Apple.mov is a great example of how a fan goes above and beyond to produce the same animation style and quality that comes from a major name in the business.
I say it's a fine example of how someone with lots of style emulation skill and the sense of humor of a five year old can duplicate someone with no talent and the sense of humor of a five year old that the industry has tricked themselves into thinking is "witty" and "cutting edge" because they show lots of tongue and talk about bums. (I've watched porn with better tallent than in the entire catalog of John Kricfalusi)
Everything else though...AWESOME! Didn't think the anime-style-title-sequence one was worthy of it's position and I thought is Rhythm is Magic should have been number 1...until I saw Epic Cupcake Time (EPIC!!!) took the spot, and now I think Rhythm is Magic should be in the number 2 slot. :p
(Re: Shine Like Rarity) It was...OK. Certainly a cut above most YouTube garbage and fits right in with the other entries in the series, but compared to those others (ESPECIALLY Learn Like Twilight Sparkle) it's only holding in at average.
'course, that's like saying a 14-carrot diamond is only average compared to a 15-, 20-, 25, and 30-carrot diamond. ;)
