My reaction to this news.
I know it's been said countless times, but it's worth repeating: Tara Strong is simply amazing. I love the projects that she's involved in. She really brings the acting to voice acting. She's also a class act to her fans.
Fans have every right to adore her.

Celestia's voice actor was approached about possibly singing in season three. Makes me wonder what kind of song and dance she would do!
It just proves how long it takes to do these episodes. Remember we had 5 months between seasons 1 and 2, you can expect the same between 2 and 3.

So they're already working on the vocals for S3? Awesome! So I guess that a certain song is definitely for season 2.
Considering the time it took for season 2, I'm guessing season 3 will air sometime in early fall.
We got Voice Samples from Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball (where she gave her opinion on bronies, did Applejack and Rainbow Dash inpressions), and Nicole Oliver (despite it was a small one). Now we need voice samples from Tabitha St. Germain and Andrea Libman, and all will be right in the world.

Voice acting is starting, which means scripts are for the most part done. It really takes this long to animate and edit? Ouch. I do not envy them for their jobs.

my only problem is they just started this season... now I know they don't cater to us but they still keep an eye out for general feedback. They are already doing voicework, meaning the scripts are probably already written. now if it's this early in season 2, that means they are doing his blind more or less.
probably gonna be just fine. especially if they only have a couple of the episodes actually written.
Well, after the end of season 2 I guess we'll all be waiting for season 3.

I think if it ended after two seasons I'd feel cheated, 52 episodes? Feels too short.
But with a season 3 confirmed, 78 episodes I feel secure. I would be dissapointed if it didn't get a season 4 but I wouldn't feel it had a tragically short run.
I would hope it gets a season 4 because then it hits the 100 episodes needed for syndication and it's well known that a lot of fans discover tv shows through syndication rather than the first run.

Andrea Libman will be one of the guests at FushiCon on November 18th through the 20th. She will also be one of the guests of honor at BroNYCon in January!

Hopefully when the series goes down, it will go down peacefully. Knowing Hasbro, it would be a possibility for them to revamp MLP down the road in another series.
