Found them all but had to check comments to make sure about Pinkie Pie. Found Pinkie first, then Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Twilight, then finally Applejack. Found AJ to be the hardest one to find. Looked at that section many times till it finally hit me like a brick
Pinkie is hard to find because she isn't pink in the picture. She is on the blackboard to the left side of the picture, near the bottom.
Applejack is on the furthest right brown board at the bottom of the picture.
Rarity is tucked between a cluster of 4 people to the far right.
Twilight is on the floor, she should be easier to spot because she has a book out. She is right by a woman's sandal on the right side floor. Just look for the yellow rectangle.
Fluttershy is on a little ledge thing on the right side, near 2 guys leaning against the wall.
And last but not least, and probably easiest to find, Dash is at the top of the picture lounging in a cloud.

I cropped out the left blackboard, and zoomed it in 200%....there's no way to tell if that's Pinkie or not. It's too little detail. I almost thought it was AJ, because it looks like it's wearing her hat, but I found AJ somewhere else.
If that's supposed to be Pinkie, then she needs to be rehidden somewhere that you can actually tell it's her.
Finally, my years of playing finding games have paid off. Found everypony except AJ and Pinkie on my first try, then went back and found AJ and Pinkie on my second try without cheats. I AM THE MASTER! *flexes*
Fairly easy but I like this. Had the most trouble with Rarity, I actually thought Pinkie was Rarity for a second when I found her, she would have been the hardest to find had I not been lucky.
Pinkie is in the black board on the bottom left as an outline in what I asusme is chalk and Fluttershy is on the right hand side, lower part, bottom of a pillar above the head of a man with his leg crossed writing. She blends in well.
Damn. Well at least I wasn't the only one having trouble finding Pinkie Pie. I had already figured that she wasn't colored her normal colors and was somehow blending with the image. Fluttershy and Applejack can also be easily overlooked but I managed to find them.

So Pinkie breaks the fourth wall by breaking the fourth wall into breaking a new wall to land herself in the chalk zone. However, I am glad I found her all by myself, I guess my eyes aren't that bad Pinkie. Better luck next time ;)

Got the full set without having to look at the comments. ^^ In order, Rainbow Dash (without even having to zoom in), Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie.
So far I've found everypony except Pinkie...Rainbow was the first I found, she was the easiest, and Applejack I came across by accident (good thing too, because she looks like she would have been near impossible to find if I was actually trying!)
While everypony else is trying to search for hidden ponies in this image, I would simply like to take the time to point out that Socrates and Plato (here pictured centrally) are Earth's first two bronies, for they envisioned the civilization of Equestria, more specifically the traits of Intellectual Aristocracy (Princess Celestia), Job based on Best Skill (everypony else), and a Guardian Class (the royal guard).
I found Rainbow first, of course. Twilight and Rarity were also easy. Saw Pinkie pretty early in too, but I couldn't make out enough detail and assumed it to be not her. Guess I should have gone with my instincts!
I looked at Applejack's square like 50 times and didn't notice her until I read the comment though.
Also Fluttershy was totally invisible for some reason...
It'd be more entertaining if they were in places you could reasonably expect them to be. Pinkie Pie on a chalkboard I can accept, but Applejack in a mural is just not playing fair. Also, I swear he desaturated and lightened Fluttershy just to make her extra hard to find.

AJ stands out more than the others just because the darker parts of her eyes clash so much with the rest of the area she's hidden in. Plus she's notably bigger than the rest of them.
Fluttershy was so difficult for being so in the open. And Pinkie Pie... is so random. Those two I needed the spoilers for. But I found Dash in 10 seconds flat. Also, Twilight was easy; I figured she'd be near Euclid.
Might I add, totally a religious painting, in the concept that it shows an argument for the need for Theology in higher learning; thus Plato's "Hey, think about higher forms. Up there." gesture counterbalancing Aristotle's "Let's keep things down here" gesture (which also makes it a secular painting. Oh Raphael, you're such a genius in contrasting the Renaissance views of wanting to stick to religion and wanting to be enlightened through secular means. Cheeky bastard, so cool but rude.) Thus this painting is the first RariJack post.
I found the first 5 rather quickly on my own except Pinkie. I thought I saw her but at the resolution of the monitor I'm using I wasn't sure. I didn't think it would be so obscure, but then I read the comments and I realized that I was right and of course Pinkie would be in the most obvious yet obscure hiding spot.
Rainbow dash was the first I found, then twilight (I thought she would probably be close to something scientific). Rarity and Fluttershy weren't far from her so I found them next. Applejack was well hidden and Pinkie was the last I found (almost gave up).
Order found: Fluttershy, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity,...I read the spoilers for Pinkie but looked on the wrong blackboard for ten minutes before finding her!

Pinkie Pie was REALLY hiding well! Didn't expect AJ's hiding spot to be breaking the fourth wall as well, but I was definitely counting on Pinkie's spot being popping out of a book, or something like that. Glad I wasn't disappointed finding her where she was.
Also, considering how many people had trouble finding AJ, I'm a little shocked I saw her first. Then Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rarity, then obviously Pinkie was last, since that seems to be the general consensus. Damn, she was a tough one!

I'm going to call shenanigans on Pinkie Pie and AJ, since they were significantly modified. It is not a fair search if the objects being searched for don't look normal. I understand the need for a challenge, but, it's hard to achieve a goal when it isn't defined. Still lots of fun!

Gah, Pinkie Pie is the queen of hide and seek. That took forever. Glad I actually found her on my own though.
I give up. I just can't see Pinkie. Unless someone points an arrow to exactly where she is on that damn blackboard I won't find her.

Fluttershy was hard to find, and I had to come to the comments to find Pinkie Pie, but the other four were fairly easy.

2: Fluttershy on the shoulder of the person writing in a book, 6th from the right, top row of people.
3: Rarity second row of people, far right, sitting on the second person from the square column
4: Twilight on the floor next between the 5th and 7th people from the right column wearing red and green tunics. She is reading a TINY yellow book behind a black chalkboard lying flat on the floor. Adorkable.
5: Applejack. Gold/sepia toned, in the right most edge of the right most gold paining on the bottom of the image. she is located halfway up the small paining.
6: Pinkie Pie... Took me as long to find her as all the others combined. She is BLACK and WHITE!!! Monochrome! she is in the sketch on the chalk board on the left side of the image, held upright in front of the man writing in the large book, located between the left square column and the small desk. She. Is. Hard. To. Make. Out.

Found RD first, then my eyes got used to the picture now that I knew what to look for, found Twi, AJ, FS and Rarity (in this order) in about 2 mins.
Now Pinkie...I searched for pretty long, and after I was content she will be in some totally impossible place, I gave up and checked the comments.
That friggin...clever.
The annoying thing is I WAS looking at that particular part of the picture but I thought I'm just seeing Pinkie there because I want to, and moved on...

So far I've found everypony except Pinkie...Rainbow was the first I found, she was the easiest, and Applejack I came across by accident (good thing too, because she looks like she would have been near impossible to find if I was actually trying!)
UPDATE: now i just need to find Pinkie Pie

While everypony else is trying to search for hidden ponies in this image, I would simply like to take the time to point out that Socrates and Plato (here pictured centrally) are Earth's first two bronies, for they envisioned the civilization of Equestria, more specifically the traits of Intellectual Aristocracy (Princess Celestia), Job based on Best Skill (everypony else), and a Guardian Class (the royal guard).
I found Rainbow first, of course. Twilight and Rarity were also easy. Saw Pinkie pretty early in too, but I couldn't make out enough detail and assumed it to be not her. Guess I should have gone with my instincts!
I looked at Applejack's square like 50 times and didn't notice her until I read the comment though.
Also Fluttershy was totally invisible for some reason...
It'd be more entertaining if they were in places you could reasonably expect them to be. Pinkie Pie on a chalkboard I can accept, but Applejack in a mural is just not playing fair. Also, I swear he desaturated and lightened Fluttershy just to make her extra hard to find.
The only acceptable hiding spot was Rainbow Dash.

Oh Pinkie, you are way too good at playing hide and seek what with your ability to break the laws of reality.
AJ stands out more than the others just because the darker parts of her eyes clash so much with the rest of the area she's hidden in. Plus she's notably bigger than the rest of them.
Believe it or not...I found all but Fluttershy. Had to read comments for her.

Fluttershy was so difficult for being so in the open. And Pinkie Pie... is so random. Those two I needed the spoilers for. But I found Dash in 10 seconds flat. Also, Twilight was easy; I figured she'd be near Euclid.
Might I add, totally a religious painting, in the concept that it shows an argument for the need for Theology in higher learning; thus Plato's "Hey, think about higher forms. Up there." gesture counterbalancing Aristotle's "Let's keep things down here" gesture (which also makes it a secular painting. Oh Raphael, you're such a genius in contrasting the Renaissance views of wanting to stick to religion and wanting to be enlightened through secular means. Cheeky bastard, so cool but rude.) Thus this painting is the first RariJack post.

Plato and Aristotle are arguing over who the best pony is, and Plato is gesturing to indicate that it's Rainbow Dash.
Applejack is making spooky faces at the gristly scene in front of her.
Raphael has a Rarity pocket-pony.
Averroes is expressing his profound appreciation for the picture of Pinkie Pie.
That guy staring at Fluttershy may look grumpy, but he's being warmed on the inside.
Twilight is studying math with Euclid/Aristotle, as I figured it was the sort of thing she'd go for.

I found the first 5 rather quickly on my own except Pinkie. I thought I saw her but at the resolution of the monitor I'm using I wasn't sure. I didn't think it would be so obscure, but then I read the comments and I realized that I was right and of course Pinkie would be in the most obvious yet obscure hiding spot.
Found them all on my own.
Rainbow dash was the first I found, then twilight (I thought she would probably be close to something scientific). Rarity and Fluttershy weren't far from her so I found them next. Applejack was well hidden and Pinkie was the last I found (almost gave up).
Is it odd that this reminds me of Assassin's Creed?

Pinkie Pie was REALLY hiding well! Didn't expect AJ's hiding spot to be breaking the fourth wall as well, but I was definitely counting on Pinkie's spot being popping out of a book, or something like that. Glad I wasn't disappointed finding her where she was.
Also, considering how many people had trouble finding AJ, I'm a little shocked I saw her first. Then Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rarity, then obviously Pinkie was last, since that seems to be the general consensus. Damn, she was a tough one!

YES. Finally I found everypony without looking at the comments... Took me 2 hours on Pinkie but I found her. Ok, spoil time.
Twilight is at the bottom right corner near the feet of the man drawing something.
Fluttershy is up top of the group of people that Twilight was in, except she's near the person leaning on the wall.
Applejack is monochromatic and below the crowd of people Twilight was in, specifically the far right of all the gold pictures.
Rarity is at the far right, where the woman looking at you is. She is leaning on her shoulder.
Rainbow Dash is, well, where you would find her (in the clouds).
And Pinkie. I'll make this short and simple. She's black and white. Oh, and one more thing. She likes chalk.

I'm going to call shenanigans on Pinkie Pie and AJ, since they were significantly modified. It is not a fair search if the objects being searched for don't look normal. I understand the need for a challenge, but, it's hard to achieve a goal when it isn't defined. Still lots of fun!

It took me about 10 minutes to find the first pony, but after finding RD the others were found in under a minute. My issue was Pinkie and I checked the chalk board several times but her exception to the rule made it difficult to consider her there.
Overall it took me around an hour and a half
Found Rainbow, Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack easy peasy... Pinkie Pie, a bouncing, obtrusive, bubbling, pink, earth pony took me FOREVER!!!
My roommate walks in as I was searching for Pinkie Pie...she thinks I'm working on an art history paper....I'm sticking to that story haha
